Tesla has launched its first-ever mall-based Supercharging station in India at Nexus Seawoods mall in Navi Mumbai on April 6, 2026. Located in the B1 parking area, the facility features a total of eight chargers, marking a significant expansion of Tesla’s charging infrastructure in the country.
The station includes four V4 Superchargers capable of delivering DC fast charging at speeds of up to 250 kW, along with four Destination Chargers offering AC charging at 11 kW. According to Tesla, its Model Y can gain up to 275 km of range in just 15 minutes using the Superchargers, making it sufficient for a round trip between Navi Mumbai and Pune.
With this addition, Tesla now operates five charging stations across India, comprising 20 Superchargers and 14 Destination Chargers across cities such as Gurugram, Delhi, Mumbai, and Navi Mumbai.
In addition to the charging facility, Tesla has also set up a pop-up store in the mall’s main atrium. The space offers visitors guided vehicle walkarounds, test drive bookings, and interactive experiences showcasing Tesla’s technology, safety features, and performance.
Tesla owners can manage the entire charging experience through the Tesla app, which integrates navigation, battery preconditioning, and payment into a single platform. The company states that its Supercharger network maintains an uptime of 99.95%.
The Tesla Model Y is currently priced in India starting at ₹59,89,000, with home charging support included as part of the ownership package.
