Vikram Kamats Hospitality Partners HPCL to Launch Nationwide Food & Fuel Ecosystem

Vikram Kamats Hospitality Limited, home to one of India’s most respected South Indian restaurant brands, has entered into a strategic partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited to bring authentic South Indian dining to HPCL fuel stations across the country. This partnership marks an important milestone in developing a seamless food and fuel ecosystem aligned with the rising demands of travellers across India.

Under the agreement, Vikram Kamats Hospitality Limited will set up South Indian restaurants and take-away outlets at select HPCL fuel stations, offering travellers access to clean, hygienic and familiar food options while on the move. The initiative aims to transform fuel stations into dependable rest and refresh points where customers can refuel their vehicles, use well-maintained washrooms and enjoy quality meals at a single stop.

The partnership was formally signed by Murali Krishna V. Vadrevu, Executive Director at HPCL and Pankaj Deokar, Vice President Operations at Vikram Kamats Hospitality Limited, reflecting the shared intent of both organisations to build this collaboration at scale.

The rollout will begin with Maharashtra as the pilot state, after which the model will be expanded in phases across highways, cities and urban hubs nationwide. HPCL’s extensive network of fuel stations across India provides a strong foundation for this expansion, enabling the partnership to reach a wide cross-section of highway travellers, daily commuters, families, fleet operators and business travellers.

As part of the initiative, Kamats restaurants will introduce travel-friendly food solutions with specialised packaging that allows for quick, convenient and hygienic grab-and-go dining. The format is being designed specifically for the realities of Indian travel, where speed, cleanliness, consistency and taste matter equally.
