Akshay Chaturvedi is a young Indian entrepreneur. In 2020, he was featured in Forbes India 30 Under 30 and later in Forbes Asia 30 Under 30. He founded Leverage Edu and currently serves as its CEO. Under his leadership, the platform has grown into one of India’s largest career guidance and university admission platforms with approximately 1.5 million users, over 60,000 personalized counseling sessions conducted so far and more than 1,200 university applicants per month.

In 2019, Akshay Chaturvedi was honored as a CNBC Young Turk. In the same year, he won the TiE Entrepreneurial Excellence Award. In 2020, he received the BusinessWorld Techtors Award, recognizing him as one of the top emerging tech entrepreneurs. In 2019, he was selected as a Prime Minister’s Champion of Change, working with ministries on higher education policy frameworks. In July 2020, he was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year (Consumer Business) by Entrepreneur Magazine. Akshay is also an active speaker at multiple platforms.
At the international level, Akshay Chaturvedi has made his mark by speaking at UNDP (on youth aspirations), WISE Qatar (on new education models), EdTechX Europe, London (on AI in education) and the World Economic Forum, Kazakhstan (on future higher education models). He has also shared his insights at the Ministry of Youth Affairs, FICCI Frames and PHD Chambers of Commerce.
Additionally, he has spoken at platforms such as TEDx and Josh Talks and appeared on media outlets including Times Now, CNBC, Rajya Sabha TV, All India Radio and Red FM. He also writes columns for The Economic Times.
