Zenergize, a power-electronics product company focused on designing and manufacturing solutions in India for the solar and clean-energy sector, has announced a strategic technology partnership with Infineon Technologies. The collaboration aims to integrate Infineon’s advanced power semiconductor components across Zenergize’s product portfolio.
As part of the partnership, Zenergize will incorporate Infineon’s Silicon Carbide (SiC) power devices into its systems, along with technical and application-level support. This integration is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency, reliability, and operational lifespan of its power-electronics solutions, particularly for solar inverters, energy-storage systems, and grid-connected equipment.
The partnership comes at a time when India’s renewable energy sector is witnessing rapid growth, driven by initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and increasing adoption of distributed solar and energy-storage solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial segments. As installations expand, the demand for high-performance, durable power-electronics hardware tailored to Indian conditions has become more critical than ever.
Infineon’s SiC semiconductor technology plays a crucial role in enabling next-generation energy systems by offering higher efficiency, reduced power losses, and more compact designs. By leveraging this technology, Zenergize aims to deliver robust and reliable systems capable of performing in India’s challenging climatic and grid environments, including high temperatures and voltage fluctuations.
Through this collaboration, Zenergize also seeks to strengthen domestic manufacturing capabilities and reduce reliance on imported technologies, while aligning its products with global performance standards. Infineon will support the company with advanced semiconductor components and technical expertise, helping accelerate product development cycles and improve time-to-market.
Commenting on the partnership, Veer Karan Goyal, Founder and CTO of Zenergize, said, “India’s energy transition depends on efficient and reliable power-electronics systems. Our partnership with Infineon gives us access to proven global semiconductor technology while enabling us to design and manufacture solutions in India for Indian conditions. Additionally, all operational data remains securely hosted within India, ensuring data sovereignty and regulatory compliance.”
Jens Reinstaedt, Vice President, Application Management Industrial & Infrastructure at Infineon Technologies, added, “India’s energy transition ambitions are among the most significant globally. Infineon is committed to being a long-term technology partner by providing comprehensive semiconductor solutions that help companies like Zenergize build efficient, compact, and reliable systems optimized for local operating conditions.”
With this partnership, Zenergize aims to strengthen its position as a key domestic player in power-electronics manufacturing while laying the foundation for future expansion into global markets.
