Corporate travel and expense management platform Ziptrrip has acquired online travel marketplace HelloTravel Online, marking a move to broaden its offerings beyond core corporate travel services.
The deal is expected to strengthen Ziptrrip’s position in business leisure, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) and experiential travel segments, which typically require deeper supplier networks and stronger execution capabilities.
Founded in 2019 by Shan Prabhakaran and Rishabh Agarwal, Ziptrrip provides solutions that help companies manage travel bookings, automate approval workflows and enforce dynamic travel policies. Its platform uses algorithms to analyse travel behaviour and policy compliance, enabling businesses to access cost-effective fares through a meta-supply backend. The company says it has facilitated more than 2 lakh trips across over 650 corporate clients.
With this acquisition, Ziptrrip plans to leverage HelloTravel’s established ecosystem, which includes a wide network of travel agents, destination management companies (DMCs) and a large user community. This integration is expected to enhance supply depth and improve service delivery across new travel categories.
HelloTravel, founded by Pankaj Agarwal and Mohit Shrivastava, operates a marketplace that connects travellers with verified agents offering customised holiday packages. The platform claims to have more than 7,000 partners and over 2 lakh experience-led packages, along with a community of more than 1.5 million users.
Following the acquisition, HelloTravel will function as a wholly owned subsidiary of Wayfarers Technologies Private Limited. While its founders will exit, the existing team will continue managing operations and partner relationships.
