Under Pachisia’s leadership, Zivame strengthened its omnichannel presence, expanding its retail footprint across major Indian cities while continuing to grow its strong online ecosystem.

Lavanya Pachisia, Chief Executive Officer of Zivame, has announced her departure from the company, marking the end of a nearly eight-year journey that saw the intimate wear brand transform from a digital-first startup into a leading omnichannel retailer.

In a post shared on her LinkedIn page on Sunday, Pachisia said she is “calling it curtains on one of the most fulfilling chapters” of her professional life. Reflecting on her tenure, she wrote about her evolution within the company—from joining to build its financial foundation to ultimately leading it as CEO

“What began as a focus on numbers and processes transformed into a larger purpose — to lead Zivame’s journey and shape its vision of making intimate wear accessible to every woman across India,” she shared in her post.

Under Pachisia’s leadership, Zivame strengthened its omnichannel presence, expanding its retail footprint across major Indian cities while continuing to grow its strong online ecosystem. She credited her team for transforming Zivame into “a movement rooted in comfort, confidence, and inclusivity,” and said her years at the company taught her enduring lessons in leadership, empathy, and collaboration.

A chartered accountant and cost accountant by training, Pachisia brings over two decades of experience in finance, operations, and retail strategy. Before assuming the CEO role in mid-2022, she served as Zivame’s Chief Operating Officer, overseeing business transformation and operational excellence. Her earlier career spans key roles in financial management and strategy across sectors.

Founded in 2011, Zivame has established itself as one of India’s leading intimate wear and lifestyle brands, offering lingerie, sleepwear, activewear, and shapewear designed to empower women with comfort and confidence. Headquartered in Bengaluru, the company’s omnichannel model combines a robust digital platform with an expanding network of physical stores, reaching millions of consumers nationwide.

As she steps down, Pachisia expressed gratitude to her colleagues and hinted at “new beginnings on the horizon,” though she did not disclose her next professional move.

“I carry forward everything this journey has taught me about leadership, collaboration, empathy, and the power of a shared purpose,” she concluded.

Pachisia’s exit marks a significant leadership transition for Zivame as it continues to scale in India’s competitive and fast-growing intimate wear market.
