Agrizy Strengthens Leadership to Boost AI-Led Growth Strategy
Agrizy has elevated Markish Arun to Co-Founder & CTO, formalising his leadership role in driving the company’s technology and AI strategy.

Agrizy, India’s tech-led Contract Research, Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CRDMO) for global food, beverages, and wellness brands, has elevated Markish Arun to the position of Co-Founder & CTO, formalising a leadership role he has been shaping since the company’s early days. The move marks a key milestone as Agrizy strengthens its technology-first growth strategy.

With over 25 years of experience in building and scaling technology platforms, Markish Arun has played a foundational role in designing Agrizy’s core engineering and AI systems. Since joining as Head of Engineering and Products in 2022, he has led the development of the company’s product roadmap and built its AI intelligence platform that powers its New Product Development (NPD) engine.

In his expanded role as Co-Founder & CTO, Markish will oversee Agrizy’s end-to-end technology and AI roadmap. His responsibilities include scaling the company’s intelligence layer, building advanced decision-support systems as strategic intellectual property, and developing global traceable supply chain solutions tailored for food and wellness brands.

He will also focus on enhancing technology-led quality assurance systems, improving data-driven supply chain visibility, and strengthening Agrizy’s platform readiness for large-scale global operations. The company aims to leverage applied AI to improve efficiency, transparency, and speed across food and wellness manufacturing ecosystems.

One of his key contributions has been the development of an AI-driven credit evaluation engine that reduced internal assessment time by nearly 90%. He has also led tech-enabled quality assurance pilots across partner processing plants, helping improve consistency, reduce return-to-origin (RTO) instances, and minimize associated carbon emissions.

Co-Founder & CEO Vicky Dodani said that Markish has been co-foundational to Agrizy’s journey, adding that formalising his role ensures stronger execution speed, continuity, and long-term technology leadership as the company scales globally.

Markish Arun is a serial entrepreneur with prior leadership roles including Co-Founder of MagicRooms (acquired by Yatra), Vice President Engineering at Goibibo, CTO at Zoomcar, and senior positions at SAP Labs. His expertise in building scalable systems for SMB ecosystems now powers Agrizy’s AI-led infrastructure for the global food and wellness supply chain industry.

With this elevation, Agrizy reinforces its commitment to building long-term, technology-driven infrastructure that accelerates product development, improves supply chain efficiency, and enables sustainable growth for global F&B and wellness processing ecosystems.
