Astrotalk’s foray into spiritual e-commerce has gathered significant momentum, with its dedicated platform, Astrotalk Store, recording over ₹140 crore in revenue in 2025—within a year of launching in November 2024. The business has already reached an annualised revenue run rate exceeding ₹200 crore, underlining strong early product-market fit.

The Store was incubated internally with an initial investment of ₹30 lakh and scaled rapidly on the back of high repeat purchases and robust average order values. Encouraged by early traction, Astrotalk infused an additional ₹40 crore to accelerate growth. The capital has been channelled into expanding inventory, strengthening supply chains, upgrading technology infrastructure, increasing marketing spends, and diversifying product categories. During 2025, the platform fulfilled more than 1.6 million orders.

Astrotalk Store was created to address growing consumer demand for authenticated spiritual products often recommended during online astrology consultations. The company identified gaps in trust, standardisation and quality across India’s largely unorganised spiritual products market and positioned the Store as a curated, credibility-led alternative.

Commenting on the opportunity, Astrotalk Founder Puneet Gupta said the spiritual commerce market has long lacked organised players. He noted that consumers typically rely on local sellers or unverified online platforms, making authenticity a challenge. According to Gupta, Astrotalk Store aims to bring structure to the category by combining astrologer-led recommendations, verified sourcing and a trusted digital ecosystem.

Currently, the platform offers over 300 stock keeping units (SKUs) across categories such as rudrakshas, gemstones, bracelets, idols and ritual essentials. Astrotalk plans to introduce more than 500 additional products by FY27, with a particular focus on daily-use items and repeat-purchase segments. The company is targeting annual recurring revenue of ₹400–500 crore from the e-commerce vertical by FY27.

Daman Soni, Chief Business Officer of Astrotalk Store, said the company is building the platform with a long-term view, prioritising sustainable scale over short-term gains. He highlighted a repeat purchase rate of 24 per cent as a strong indicator of customer retention and added that nearly half of future sales are expected to come from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Alongside the Store’s growth, Astrotalk’s core astrology services business continued to perform strongly in FY25, reporting revenue of ₹1,176 crore. The company expects the e-commerce arm to play a strategic role in long-term revenue diversification while supporting improved margins over time.
