Apple Inc. has revealed the storefront barricade for its upcoming Apple Borivali outlet in Mumbai, marking the lead-up to its official debut. The company confirmed on Friday that the store will open its doors on Thursday, February 26. The launch will take Apple’s total store count in India to six, with two now located in Mumbai.
Apple opened its first India store in Mumbai and its second in Delhi in April 2023. The company expanded its retail presence in 2025 with three more outlets Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru, Apple Koregaon Park in Pune, and Apple Noida.
The Borivali store is part of Apple’s plan to strengthen its retail network in key Indian cities. Mumbai remains an important market for the company as it grows its presence in the country.
The barricade at the Borivali store carries a peacock-inspired visual identity. Apple first introduced this design at the opening of Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru. It later used the same theme at Apple Koregaon Park in Pune and Apple Noida.
“The design signals confidence, detail, and a sense of arrival, seen through Apple's lens of creativity. Apple Borivali will serve a growing community of startups and businesses,” informs the company.
