The fresh capital will be used for market expansion, product development and investment in new industry-aligned skilling programmes.
Focus on AI and Technology Skilling for Engineering Students
byteXL plans to increase its institutional reach from 40 to 120 institutions over the next two years. At the same time, the company aims to expand its current reach of around 2 lakh students to 5 lakh students. The expansion will be carried out across 15 states.
The company works with engineering colleges, particularly institutions in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Its model combines regular academic education with industry-aligned curriculum, hands-on learning, technology platforms and trained educators. The objective is to provide students with the Technology and AI skills required for employment alongside their degree programmes.
Investment in AI-Based Learning and Personalised Education
A significant portion of the funding will be invested in AI-enabled learning and assessment, student analytics and personalised learning tools. The company also plans to strengthen its technology platform, expand into new areas and grow its network of educators.
byteXL said that 7,600 of its graduates secured placements in IT and engineering roles last year. The company believes that integrating industry-ready skilling into regular college academic programmes can help strengthen students’ employability and career opportunities.
The company’s co-founders Karun and Sricharan Tadepalli have said that the next phase of growth will focus on expanding its institutional footprint, strengthening its Technology and AI capabilities and increasing its reach across India’s technology education ecosystem.
With this expansion, byteXL is focusing on strengthening the connection between engineering education, technology skilling and employment. The target of reaching 120 institutions and 5 lakh students over the next two years is expected to mark an important step in scaling skilling delivery and academic partnerships.
