Gurugram-based First Bridge Business School will provide every student with a premium Claude subscription, making AI tools part of everyday management education rather than limiting them to elective courses or standalone AI modules.

First Bridge Business School (FBBS), a new-generation business school in Gurugram focused on experiential and industry-led management education has announced that every student will receive a premium Claude subscription as part of the programme.

The business school believes the initiative makes it the first B-school in India to offer premium Claude access to its entire student cohort. The move is aimed at integrating AI into the day-to-day learning and practice of management students.

FBBS said the initiative reflects its broader approach to management education, where AI is treated as a core management capability rather than an elective or a standalone subject.

AI to Become Part of Everyday Management Learning

The institution said business education needs to evolve as companies increasingly expect graduates to make decisions using technology, data and AI tools. According to FBBS, the role of a manager is changing as professionals increasingly work with AI systems while dealing with incomplete information and time-sensitive decisions.

The school has designed its curriculum, faculty model and assessment approach around this changing business environment, with the aim of helping students understand both the capabilities and limitations of AI tools.

Students to Gain Hands-on Experience With AI Tools

“AI is going to fundamentally change what managers do and how they do it. We don’t believe students can be meaningfully taught AI by simply giving them a few lectures on ChatGPT or generative AI,” said Rajeev Roy, Director, First Bridge Business School.

Roy added that access to AI tools should be combined with regular use and experimentation. “If AI is going to be an essential management capability, students need access to the tools themselves. They need to use them every day, experiment with them, make mistakes, build things and understand where these tools work and where they don’t,” he said.

The premium Claude access is therefore positioned as part of the school’s experiential learning model, allowing students to use AI during coursework and other management-related activities.

FBBS said the broader objective is to reduce the gap between what business schools teach and the skills companies expect from management graduates from their first day at work. The institution aims to prepare students for a workplace where AI-assisted decision-making and problem-solving are becoming increasingly relevant.
