TO THE NEW, an AI-native digital engineering company, has announced an enterprise-wide learning partnership with Coursera, a leading global online learning platform. Under the partnership, all 2,200+ employees at TO THE NEW will receive access to Coursera’s full enterprise learning catalog.
The partnership supports TO THE NEW’s company-wide AI Adoption Accelerated Program, which is designed to build structured AI capabilities across engineering competencies and functions. As part of the programme, employees will follow role-specific learning paths curated by practice leads, helping make AI skill development a consistent organisation-wide practice rather than an individual initiative.
TO THE NEW is also expanding the use of AI across its client engagements and internal engineering practices. The company operates its client engagements as AI-enabled and considers AI-assisted development capabilities essential to its delivery approach. The structured learning programme will be extended to its 2,200+ engineers across India, the U.S., the UAE and Australia.
Building AI Skills Across Every Engineering Team
Narinder Kumar, Co-founder and CEO, TO THE NEW, said, “AI adoption has to be something every employee is equipped to work through, not just a handful of specialists. Partnering with Coursera at an enterprise level lets us give every Newer structured, role-specific access to build these skills at scale. It's a foundational piece of how we're preparing our teams and our clients' engagements for an AI-native way of working.”
The partnership aims to help employees develop practical AI skills aligned with their respective roles and areas of expertise. By combining enterprise-wide access with structured learning paths, TO THE NEW plans to create a common baseline of AI fluency across its engineering workforce.
The initiative is part of the company’s broader effort to embed AI more deeply into its products, services and engineering processes, while preparing employees to adapt to the changing requirements of AI-enabled technology development.
Coursera Partnership to Support Structured AI Learning
Ashutosh Gupta, Managing Director, India and Asia Pacific, Coursera, said, “As AI moves rapidly from experimentation into everyday work, organisations need to build AI capability across the workforce - not just within specialist teams. TO THE NEW's approach of combining enterprise-wide access with structured, role-based learning is a strong example of how organisations can turn AI adoption into sustained business impact.”
Gupta added that Coursera is pleased to partner with TO THE NEW as the company equips its teams with the skills required to work effectively in an AI-enabled environment.
TO THE NEW employees are being onboarded to the programme in phases, with structured learning paths tailored to the practice area and requirements of each team. The phased approach is expected to support consistent AI capability-building across the organisation.
