Clean-label health food brand The Whole Truth has raised about USD 51 million in a Series D funding round led by Sofina and Sauce.vc. The round included a mix of primary and secondary capital, with participation from existing investors Peak XV Partners and Rainmatter Health, as well as Ayra Ventures.
Early backers of the company include Z47 and angel investors such as Swiggy cofounder Sriharsha Majety and Rebel Foods founder Jaydeep Burman.
The startup had earlier raised USD 15 million in a Series C funding round in February last year, led by Sofina with participation from Z47, Peak XV Partners and Sauce.vc. Since the Series C round in January 2025, the company claims that its revenue has grown threefold.
According to the company, the fresh capital will be used to expand in-house manufacturing capacity, support working capital needs and strengthen internal systems and processes as it prepares for a future public listing.
Founded by Unilever veteran Shashank Mehta, The Whole Truth operates in the packaged foods segment. Its product range includes protein bars, powders, nut butters and chocolates.
