Devyani International Strengthens Leadership Across Pizza Hut and Costa Coffee
Devyani International has appointed Sandeep Anand as CMO and Business Head for Pizza Hut, effective April 6, 2026. The company also named Robinder Singh as Business Head for Costa Coffee and Airports, signaling a broader leadership restructuring.

Devyani International Ltd has appointed Sandeep Anand as its new Chief Marketing Officer and Business Head for Pizza Hut, according to a regulatory filing. The company said its board of directors approved the appointment through a circular resolution passed on April 3, following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Anand will take charge from April 6, 2026.

As part of the leadership transition, Anand will replace Vijay Gogate, who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Pizza Hut within the company’s operations. The move signals a shift in leadership structure for one of the company’s key quick service restaurant (QSR) brands in India.

Anand brings around 22 years of experience in brand building and innovation across the food and FMCG sectors. His background includes stints with major consumer-facing companies such as Domino’s, Zydus Wellness, Zomato, GSK Consumer Health, Reckitt and Ranbaxy. He is an alumnus of MDI Gurgaon and holds a mechanical engineering degree from Jamia Millia Islamia.

The appointment comes at a time when QSR operators in India are recalibrating leadership to drive store-level growth, strengthen delivery channels and improve customer experience amid increasing competition. Pizza Hut, operated by Devyani International in India, remains a critical part of the company’s portfolio alongside brands such as Costa Coffee.

Alongside this change, the company has also appointed Robinder Singh as Business Head for Costa Coffee and Airports. Singh will assume his role from April 6 and brings more than 18 years of experience in operations, business growth and customer experience transformation across consumer-facing businesses.

The dual appointments indicate a broader leadership restructuring within Devyani International as it sharpens focus on brand-led growth and operational efficiency across its hospitality portfolio.
