Indore-based EdTech startup ‘Padhle’ has received an undisclosed investment from the US-based global education technology company ‘Filadd’. Along with this investment, both companies have announced a strategic partnership to launch a new technology-driven learning platform for NEET exam preparation in India.
Another significant partnership has emerged in India’s rapidly growing EdTech sector. The Indore-based startup ‘Padhle’ has secured investment from the American global education technology company Filadd. With this investment, the two companies aim to develop a technology-driven, personalized and affordable learning model for NEET preparation in India. According to experts, this initiative could challenge the traditional coaching system and provide students with a more effective digital learning experience.
A Rapidly Growing Platform That Began on YouTube
‘Padhle’ was founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic by two childhood friends, Atharva Puranik and Pranay Chauhan. Initially, it started as a YouTube channel providing free educational content for students in Classes 9 and 10.
Due to its simple language and relatable teaching style, the platform quickly gained popularity among Gen-Z students.
Today, ‘Padhle’ operates on a freemium model, which includes: Free learning through YouTube, Structured paid courses on the mobile app and website, Availability across Android, iOS and web platforms and he company also runs several educational verticals such as Padhle.in (Classes 9-10), Padhle Tenthies, Just Padhle and Padhle NEET.
Over the past few years, the startup has grown steadily. Currently, the company has an in-house team of around 25-30 professionals, including teachers, academic strategists, technology developers, content creators and student support specialists.
Moving Beyond the Traditional Online Model
With the rapid growth of the EdTech sector in India, digital education has gained widespread acceptance. However, over time many platforms have become limited to large batches and uniform content delivery models. Recorded lectures, massive student batches and limited personalized guidance have become the typical structure of online coaching.
‘Padhle’ is attempting to take a different approach from this traditional model
The company’s new NEET initiative will focus on limited batch admissions, ensuring that each student receives personalized attention and measurable academic improvement.
The platform continuously adapts its learning model based on student performance data, behavioral patterns and feedback. Following the funding, ‘Padhle’ has also strengthened its academic foundation by bringing experienced teachers and subject experts from across the country.
A New Approach to NEET Preparation with Global Collaboration
Every year, more than 2 million candidates appear for the NEET examination. As a result, India’s medical entrance preparation market has become highly competitive, dominated by expensive offline coaching institutes and conventional digital platforms.
Industry experts say that many EdTech companies still rely on mass enrollment models, where personalized guidance remains limited. The collaboration between ‘Padhle’ and Filadd aims to introduce a technology-driven alternative model.
The key features of this model will include:
- One-to-one mentorship
- Data-driven performance analysis
- AI-based personalized study plans
- Affordable program and course fees
- Customized study material based on
- students’ strengths and weaknesses
- Structured mental health and performance counseling
In addition, students will receive 24×7 mentor support and real-time doubt resolution throughout their preparation period.
Special Focus on Mental Health
Preparing for competitive exams like NEET often comes with intense academic pressure and mental stress for students.Keeping this in mind, the program will also include support from mental health professionals, bookable one-on-one counseling sessions and continuous mental health monitoring. Such a structured support system is often absent in traditional coaching models.
What the Founders Said
Commenting on the partnership, Pranay Chauhan, Co-founder of ‘Padhle’, said that the collaboration is not limited to funding but represents an important step toward building a student-centric and personalized NEET preparation ecosystem in India.
Co-founder Atharva Puranik added that innovation in EdTech should not be limited to large content libraries or massive enrollments. Instead, the focus should be on small batches, strong mentor-student relationships and continuous performance tracking.
A spokesperson from Filadd also stated that India is one of the most dynamic education markets in the world and the partnership is based on a shared vision of delivering technology-driven, personalized education capable of producing real outcomes.
