Varroc Engineering has secured a major eight-year contract to supply high-voltage electronics for a global EV manufacturer, with production set to take place at its Romania facility.

Varroc Engineering Limited has secured a significant contract with an electric vehicle manufacturer to supply high-voltage electronics, marking a major step in the company’s strategic expansion within the electric mobility sector.

Under the agreement, the Pune-based automotive supplier will deliver a complete range of high-voltage electronic components, including power electronics units, inverters, onboard chargers, battery management systems, and DC-DC converters. Production for these components will take place at Varroc’s manufacturing facility in Romania.

The long-term contract spans eight years, with estimated annual peak capacity projected to reach nearly INR 8,000 million based on volume forecasts. These components will support the EV manufacturer’s high-performance e-powertrain systems.

Dhruv Jain, CEO of Business II at Varroc, said the contract highlights the company’s advanced electronics manufacturing capabilities and its strong understanding of the global EV ecosystem. He added that Varroc is committed to delivering reliable and efficient solutions that meet international quality and performance standards.

The partnership further strengthens Varroc’s position in the global passenger vehicle electronics market and aligns with its strategic focus on accelerating growth in electronics, lighting, and electric powertrain solutions.

Varroc continues to invest in advanced technologies to meet rising global demand for e-mobility, connectivity, and advanced driver assistance systems. The company has developed strong capabilities in electronics manufacturing, systems integration, and design expertise.

Founded in 1988, Varroc Engineering is a global tier-1 automotive component supplier with 37 manufacturing plants and seven R&D centers worldwide. The company employs over 6,100 people, including more than 750 R&D engineers, and has filed over 120 patents. In FY25, Varroc reported revenue of INR 81,718 million from continued operations. Its shares are listed on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
