Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari, inaugurated Oben Electric’s 75th showroom in Nagpur on November 18, 2025. Located in Hanuman Nagar, the new facility includes both a showroom and an ‘Oben Care’ service center. With this launch, Oben Electric now has seven showrooms in Maharashtra and 75 outlets across India. The company aims to expand to over 150 showrooms and service centers by the end of the current financial year.
According to Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, the expansion is driven by strong customer response and the company’s in-house research and development capabilities. The company’s flagship electric motorcycle, Oben Rorr EZ Sigma, is available in two battery variants—3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh. The bike offers a range of up to 175 kilometers on a single charge and a top speed of 95 km/h. Priced from ₹1.16 lakh, it comes with three ride modes, a 5-inch color display, navigation, and smartphone connectivity.
Oben Electric uses LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology, which provides better heat resistance and longer lifecycle durability. The motorcycles are also available for purchase on Flipkart and Amazon, and the company offers 24×7 customer support with a 90% issue-resolution rate within 72 hours.
Founded in August 2020, Oben Electric operates a 3.5-acre manufacturing facility in Bengaluru with an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. The company holds over 25 patents and is recognized as one of the early entrants in India’s electric motorcycle market.
