Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that its myHyundai app now offers access to more than 30,000 EV charging points across India through partnerships with multiple Charge Point Operators (CPOs). According to the company, this is one of the country's largest integrated EV charging networks available on a single platform.
The initiative aims to make long-distance EV travel more convenient by providing wider access to charging infrastructure. Hyundai said charging facilities are available within an average radius of 25 kilometres nationwide, covering major highway corridors including Delhi-Gurgaon-Jaipur, Mumbai-Pune-Bengaluru, Mumbai-Ratnagiri-Goa, Chennai-Vellore-Bengaluru, and Hyderabad-Kurnool-Bengaluru.
Alongside its CPO partnerships, Hyundai is expanding its own charging infrastructure. The company currently operates 183 DC fast-charging stations across 105 cities and plans to increase the network to 600 stations by 2030. The chargers, offering charging speeds ranging from 60 kW to 240 kW, will be installed across cities, highways and Hyundai dealerships, and will remain accessible to EV users of all brands.
According to HMIL, its proprietary charging network has served more than 300,000 EV users and delivered over 5 million kWh of energy between January 2023 and June 2026. The company estimates that this has helped prevent approximately 3.5 million kilograms of CO₂ emissions.
The myHyundai app enables users to locate charging stations, access navigation, make advance bookings and complete digital payments. Hyundai has also strategically located many of its charging stations near restaurants and rest areas along highways and in cities, allowing EV owners to take a break while their vehicles charge.
Looking ahead, HMIL also announced plans to strengthen its presence in the electric mobility market by launching a mass-market electric SUV during the current financial year, further expanding its EV portfolio in India.
