Homegrown ultra-fast fashion brand Libas has become the first Indian direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion label to reach an annual run rate (ARR) of ₹1,000 crore, marking a significant milestone in India’s rapidly evolving D2C arena.

Founded in 2014, Libas had earlier made history as the first fashion-led D2C brand in the country to surpass ₹500 crore in revenue while remaining fully bootstrapped. The brand has since accelerated its growth trajectory following its 2024 fundraise, fuelled by strong consumer demand and high repeat purchases across channels.

Growth has been driven by a strong omnichannel strategy. In FY2026, Libas expanded its retail footprint with 28 store openings, up from 10 the previous year, and plans to add over 50 outlets in FY2027. Its Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) have already generated more than ₹100 crore in net sales, while its owned digital channels continue to gain momentum.

Having built our first ₹500 crore entirely bootstrapped, and now scaling further while remaining profitable, reinforces our belief in building a fundamentally strong business. The milestone strengthens Libas’s standing in India’s fashion D2C space, underscoring its ability to balance scale, profitability, and capital efficiency while continuing to grow across both online and offline channels.
