Lighthouse Learning Partners with UK’s Clifton College to Expand International Learning Opportunities
The collaboration aims to bring global academic practices, cross-cultural exposure and skill-based learning opportunities to students and educators in India.

Lighthouse Learning has partnered with Clifton College, a UK-based independent school with 164 years of educational history, to expand international learning opportunities for students in India.

The collaboration aims to facilitate the exchange of academic practices and provide students and educators with greater exposure to international education systems. It will also focus on developing skills such as leadership, entrepreneurship, independent thinking, adaptability and cultural awareness.

Through this partnership, Lighthouse Learning plans to combine its experience in India’s early childhood and K-12 education sectors with Clifton College’s international academic expertise to explore new learning opportunities for students.

Focus on Global Learning and Skill Development

Founded in 1862 in Bristol, Clifton College is a co-educational day and boarding school catering to students aged three to 18. The institution has approximately 1,200 students from the UK and more than 40 countries. Clifton College’s alumni have pursued higher education at several leading universities across the UK, the US, Europe and Asia, reflecting the institution’s international academic connections.

The partnership will explore opportunities for knowledge exchange, academic programmes and broader educational experiences with an emphasis on helping students develop skills beyond conventional classroom learning.

Lighthouse Learning’s Education Network in India

Lighthouse Learning operates more than 2,000 preschools and 60 K-12 schools across India, serving over 200,000 students. The organisation works across early childhood and school education. By collaborating with Clifton College, Lighthouse Learning aims to explore international academic practices and learning approaches that could enrich educational experiences for students and educators in India.

The partnership is expected to create opportunities for greater international exposure while encouraging skills such as independent thinking, adaptability and cross-cultural understanding.

Growing Interest in International Education Partnerships

The collaboration comes amid growing interest among Indian schools and education providers in international partnerships that expose students to different education systems, cultures and teaching approaches.

Such collaborations can create avenues for academic exchange and broader learning experiences, helping students understand global perspectives alongside their regular curriculum.

The partnership aims to support students in preparing for an increasingly interconnected academic and professional environment by encouraging global awareness, leadership and skills that extend beyond traditional classroom education.
