With two stores now operational at Oberoi Mall and Infiniti Mall, Nykaa Perfumery represents a significant milestone in the company’s long-term vision to cultivate and expand the fragrance category in India.

Globally, fragrance is regarded as the third pillar of a robust speciality beauty ecosystem and Nykaa has been investing in the segment with a clear long-term perspective. In India, where fragrance is still evolving into a daily ritual, the opportunity goes beyond retail to shaping consumer awareness, education and discovery.

Nykaa has been actively nurturing this ecosystem through a series of category-defining initiatives. Its intellectual properties, including the Fragrance Collective, which brings together over 350 global and luxury scents, and Nykaa Fragtok, a luxury fragrance creator hunt, are designed to foster exploration, storytelling and experimentation. Together, these platforms are enabling Indian consumers to engage with fragrance in more immersive and informed ways, gradually strengthening both appreciation and adoption of the category.

Nykaa Perfumery represents the physical retail embodiment of this broader vision. Conceived as an immersive fragrance discovery destination, the format places scent at the heart of the experience, inviting customers to slow down, explore thoughtfully, and forge a personal connection with perfume. Each store, spanning approximately 800 sq. ft., has been carefully designed with dedicated discovery tables and consultation-led layouts that facilitate guided exploration.

At the heart of the in-store experience is Nykaa’s Fragrance Finder, an assisted discovery tool designed to interpret consumer preferences and translate them into personalised recommendations. This phygital integration seamlessly blends technology with human expertise, making fragrance exploration both intuitive and confidence-enhancing.

Specially trained fragrance advisors lead customers through fragrance families, notes and scent profiles, while introducing them to skin testing and layering techniques. Shoppers are encouraged to experience the evolution of a scent over time and experiment with combinations that mirror their personality and mood.

Across the two outlets, customers can discover a carefully curated selection of leading global fragrance brands. The portfolio unites luxury and cult-favourite houses such as CHANEL, Jo Malone London, Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Valentino and Maison Margiela, among others.

The format also enhances the art of fragrance gifting through bespoke services, including engraving, curated gift hampers and personalised packaging, positioning Nykaa Perfumery as a premium destination for thoughtful gifting.

Nykaa’s offline network remains a pivotal driver of growth and premiumisation. In Q3 FY26, the company expanded its footprint to 276 beauty stores across 94 cities, adding 11 new outlets and marking its entry into four new markets. The network continues to deliver robust double-digit same-store sales growth, fuelled by elevated in-store experiences and exclusive brand partnerships.

Within this growing ecosystem, Nykaa Perfumery is already witnessing strong momentum. As of Q3 FY26, the format is generating nearly three times the average order value of standard beauty stores. Notably, over 45 per cent of GMV during the quarter was contributed by men’s fragrances, much of it incremental, indicating a broadening consumer base and increasing male engagement within the category.

By blending a curated global portfolio with expert-led consultations and technology-driven discovery, Nykaa Perfumery is ushering in a new era of fragrance retail in India, one centred on exploration, education and immersive sensory experiences and closely aligned with the evolving aspirations of the modern Indian beauty consumer.
