Indian tractor manufacturer TAFE unveiled its new electric-hybrid tractor EVX75 at Agritechnica 2025 in Germany.The company’s EV28 tractor was shortlisted for the “Tractor of the Year 2026” award.

Indian tractor manufacturer Tractors and Farm Equipment (TAFE) Limited has unveiled its new electric-hybrid tractor EVX75 at Agritechnica 2025 in Germany. At the same event, the company EV28 electric tractor was announced as a finalist in the “Tractor of the Year (TOTY) 2026” under the Sustainable Tractor Category.

The EVX75 comes equipped with a 75 HP hybrid powertrain, combining an EU Stage V diesel engine and a 400V electric battery system. It can operate in zero-emission electric mode for eco-friendly use and switch to hybrid mode for heavy-duty field operations. The tractor features a liquid-cooled high-voltage system, 3-speed transmission (up to 40 km/h), full HVAC cabin, and an electro-hydraulic rear lift for efficient performance.

TAFE also introduced three new tractor models across different segments:

TAFE 1015: 103 HP engine, 30F + 15R Power Shuttle transmission, and 4000 kg lift capacity.

TAFE 6065 Compact Series: 65 HP engine with hydrostatic or mechanical shuttle transmission options.

TAFE 7515 GE: 74 HP tractor designed for orchards, vineyards, and hilly terrains.

In addition, the company launched TAFE Terra 2.0, a new digital platform integrating its Terra Vista vision-based guidance system for smart and precise farming.

Dr. Lakshmi Venu, Vice Chairperson of TAFE, said that for over 65 years, the company has earned global trust for its engineering excellence, quality, and reliability.

Mallika Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director, added that TAFE aims to achieve global leadership in the sub-100 HP tractor segment, offering smart, accessible, and sustainable mechanization solutions for farmers worldwide.
