Electric motorcycle maker Ultraviolette Automotive and charging network operator Bolt.Earth have installed more than 130 Type-6 DC fast chargers across India, more than double their initial target of 50 units set for March 2026.
The companies said an additional 200 chargers will go live over the next two months, significantly expanding the standardised fast-charging network for electric two-wheelers in the country.
The charging network is currently operational across seven states — Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal — covering major cities, highway corridors, and emerging EV hubs.
These chargers are compatible with Ultraviolette Automotive’s X-47 and F77 models and are accessible through both companies’ apps, offering real-time discovery, monitoring, and digital payment features.
The companies also stated plans to deploy thousands of Type-6 DC fast chargers in the coming years, aiming to further enhance long-distance EV riding convenience and reduce range anxiety among users.
