Unstop, India’s largest talent engagement and hiring platform, has entered into an agreement to acquire PerspectAI, an AI-powered talent intelligence company. The acquisition will expand Unstop’s hiring platform with evidence-backed talent signals designed to assess employability, role fit and future potential, enabling employers to make more informed hiring and career decisions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Acquisition to Strengthen Unstop’s Talent Intelligence Capabilities
PerspectAI operates at the intersection of Game Science, Data Science and People Science, using psychometrics, cognitive and behavioural sciences, artificial intelligence and game-based assessments to understand how individuals think, learn, communicate, solve problems and respond to real-world situations.
Its technology converts behavioural and cognitive signals into indicators of Employability, Role Fit, Future Potential and workplace performance. PerspectAI serves enterprise clients across banking and financial services, education, manufacturing and consumer technology, including Aditya Birla Capital, Tata Sons, Swiggy and Motilal Oswal.
The acquisition will add a deeper layer of talent intelligence to Unstop’s existing platform, enabling employers to evaluate candidates through indicators of ability, behaviour and potential alongside conventional credentials, skills and demonstrated work.
PerspectAI Team to Join Unstop
Following completion and integration of the acquisition, Unstop plans to make PerspectAI’s tools available across its customer base, including campus recruiters, lateral hiring teams and large enterprises. The combined platform will also enable students and professionals to build richer talent profiles that bring together demonstrated work, skills and scientifically derived indicators of capability and potential.
As part of the transaction, PerspectAI’s founders and its engineering, quality and applied psychology teams will join Unstop. Jignesh Talasila, Co-founder and CEO of PerspectAI, will lead Unstop’s expansion into the Education and Government segments, while Suraj Vanka, Co-founder and CTO of PerspectAI, will join Unstop’s product leadership team.
The deal will also create opportunities for Unstop to bring its broader talent engagement and hiring solutions to PerspectAI’s existing enterprise customers.

Talent Discovery and Assessment to Gain New Momentum
With the acquisition, Unstop aims to combine its talent community of more than 32 million students and professionals with PerspectAI’s AI-driven assessment and talent intelligence capabilities. The integration is expected to enhance how companies discover, assess and understand talent.
