Zelio E-Mobility, a rapidly growing electric two- and three-wheeler manufacturer, has appointed Divyanshu Agarwal as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 15, 2026. The 26-year-old Chartered Accountant was appointed by the company’s Board of Directors following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Prior to this role, Divyanshu Agarwal was associated with Navi Limited, founded by Sachin Bansal, where he worked from November 2021. He rose to become Head of UPI Business and Growth in July 2025, playing a key role in scaling operations, building strategic partnerships, and driving business expansion.
In his new position at Zelio, Agarwal will focus on strengthening operational execution, overseeing the development and expansion of new manufacturing plants in Odisha and Coimbatore, and enhancing the company’s market presence. He will also work on expanding distribution networks, deepening partnerships, and improving product-market fit to support the company’s next phase of growth.
He began his professional journey at Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants, Kolkata, handling statutory audits for large listed companies. He holds a B.Com (Hons.) degree from St. Xavier’s College Kolkata along with his Chartered Accountant qualification.
Commenting on his appointment, Agarwal said the company is at a stage where growth must be supported by consistent execution and clear strategic direction, with a focus on strengthening fundamentals and building reliable products.
Kunal Arya, Managing Director of Zelio E-Mobility, noted that Agarwal brings strong expertise in both finance and operations, making him well-suited to guide the company through its expansion phase.
The appointment comes shortly after Zelio’s entry into the public markets, where it raised 78.34 crore through its IPO. The company currently operates a network of over 350 dealers across more than 20 states and union territories, offering electric two-wheelers under the ‘Zelio’ brand and electric three-wheelers under the ‘Tanga’ line, serving over 200,000 customers across India.
