The company is expanding its EV fleet across key cities to meet rising demand from corporate, quick-commerce and delivery sectors.

India leading EV rental and mobility-tech platform, Bijliride, has announced an operational expansion. The company plans to deploy 5,000 new electric two-wheelers to meet growing corporate and retail demand. The expansion will further strengthen Bijliride’s existing presence in key markets such as Hyderabad, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune.

According to Bijliride, the expansion aims to provide corporate clients, quick-commerce companies and hyperlocal delivery brands with an immediately deployable and legally compliant EV fleet. Increased vehicle availability is expected to help reduce logistics challenges in last-mile delivery, enable faster fulfilment and improve fleet uptime. The company will also provide on-road assistance to customers through its 24/7 local support network.

The expansion is also expected to benefit gig workers and delivery partners. According to the company, delivery riders facing rising fuel prices and vehicle maintenance costs can retain 100% of their earnings through Bijliride’s direct, zero-commission model. The company’s rapid battery-swapping facility will also help reduce vehicle downtime.

Shivam Sisodiya, Founder and CEO, Bijliride, said the expansion is not merely about increasing fleet numbers but about building reliable and practical mobility solutions. He added that the company is focusing on major metropolitan markets, including Hyderabad, where demand for sustainable and cost-effective mobility is growing rapidly.

Bijliride is driving this expansion through a scalable and asset-light franchise model. Under the model, the company is partnering with local micro-entrepreneurs to develop regional mobility hubs. At the same time, it is expanding its backend infrastructure across various cities, including pickup hubs, dedicated charging networks and real-time on-road maintenance support.

Founded in 2021, Bijliride is a SaaS-powered electric two-wheeler rental platform. The company operates a fleet of more than 4,000 EVs across major cities and serves both individual and enterprise customers. With 24/7 battery swapping, on-road support and enterprise fleet management services, the company aims to provide sustainable and cost-effective urban mobility solutions to 1 million users by 2030.
