The new Lexus ES 350h hybrid sedan is available in two variants, with prices starting at 66.10 lakh ex-showroom.

Lexus India has opened bookings for the new-generation ES 350h, the self-charging hybrid electric version of its eighth-generation ES sedan. The new model joins the recently launched ES 500e in Lexus’ electrified portfolio and is part of the company’s multi-pathway strategy towards carbon neutrality.

First introduced alongside the Lexus LS in 1989, the ES sedan is currently sold in more than 80 countries and has been a long-standing part of Lexus India’s portfolio. The new ES 350h will be manufactured locally in India and shares its platform and design approach with the ES 500e.

The new ES 350h has been developed as a key model in Lexus’ next-generation electrified range, which includes both hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) powertrain options. Compared to its predecessor, the new sedan features a longer wheelbase, greater width and increased ground clearance, offering more space inside the cabin.

In terms of design, the sedan features L-shaped lighting elements and electronic door latch releases with Safe Exit Assist. Customers can choose from six exterior colour options and two interior colour themes. The cabin features a 14-inch touchscreen with the latest Lexus Interface, a fully digital instrument cluster and a driver-focused Tazuna cockpit layout. The model also comes with “Responsive Hidden Switches,” which Lexus describes as a segment-first feature.

The Lexus ES 350h is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a new eAxle and an integrated Power Control Unit. The hybrid system also features a newly developed lithium-ion battery designed to balance performance, fuel efficiency and a quiet driving experience.

For safety, the sedan comes equipped with the latest Lexus Safety System+, including an upgraded Pre-Collision System, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist. The top-spec Luxury variant also gets a Drive Monitor feature. Connected-car functions available through the Lexus Connected app include remote monitoring of fuel levels and driving range, climate pre-conditioning, live vehicle tracking and an integrated emergency call feature.

As part of its ownership package, Lexus India is offering five years of roadside assistance, an eight-year or 2,00,000-kilometre warranty on the vehicle and hybrid battery, an Assured Buy Back Program and Lexus Luxury Care service packages ranging from three to eight years.

The new Lexus ES 350h is available in two variants—Exquisite and Luxury—priced at 66,10,000 and 71,80,000 ex-showroom, respectively.
