Bolt.Earth, India’s largest peer-to-peer (P2P) EV charging network, has announced a strategic partnership with Statiq, one of the country’s fastest-growing EV charging networks, to enhance nationwide access to electric vehicle charging. The collaboration aims to deliver a seamless and interoperable charging experience, offering four-wheeler EV users greater access to fast-charging infrastructure across India.
Under the partnership, EV drivers will be able to locate, access, and pay for chargers across both Bolt.Earth and Statiq networks directly through either app. This integration eliminates the need for multiple applications and simplifies the charging journey with unified access, integrated payments, and real-time charging updates.
By combining Statiq’s extensive high-speed DC fast-charging infrastructure for four-wheelers with Bolt.Earth’s universal charging platform, the collaboration significantly expands the availability of fast chargers across key cities, highways, and commercial hubs. This is expected to improve reliability and reduce range anxiety for both urban and intercity EV travel.
Statiq currently operates one of India’s largest EV charging networks, offering AC and high-speed DC fast-charging solutions with a strong presence in major cities and along highways. Bolt.Earth, on the other hand, serves two-wheeler, three-wheeler, and four-wheeler users through its community-driven P2P platform, with a network spanning over 1,900 cities nationwide.
Commenting on the partnership, Akshit Bansal, Founder and CEO of Statiq, said the collaboration aligns with the company’s vision of making public charging simple, reliable, and widely accessible. He added that connecting two strong networks through interoperability is a meaningful step toward accelerating EV adoption in India.
S Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO and Founder of Bolt.Earth, highlighted that interoperability is the future of EV charging in the country. He noted that the partnership delivers enhanced accessibility, reduces app fatigue, and provides users with a single, real-time view of available charging points.
The collaboration is expected to significantly simplify the EV charging experience across India, helping build a more open, reliable, and user-friendly charging ecosystem and bringing the country closer to a future of effortless electric mobility.
