EdTech Firm Klassroom to Launch Maiden SME IPO on July 31, Driving Hybrid Learning Expansion
Fusion Klassroom Edutech Limited (Klassroom), an education and skill development solutions provider is set to open its maiden SME Initial Public Offering (IPO) for subscription on July 31, 2026.


Through the public issue, the company aims to raise ₹39.04 crore, with an estimated valuation of around ₹148.1 crore. The funds raised will be used to expand the business, strengthen technological capabilities, develop AI-powered education solutions and scale its hybrid learning network.

Klassroom was founded in 2016 by Alka Javeri, Dhruv Javeri and Dhumil Javeri with the belief that every Indian family, regardless of income or location, deserves access to quality, outcome-driven education. Guided by this vision, the company developed a hybrid learning model that seamlessly integrates offline and online education to provide students with flexible, affordable and effective learning experiences.

According to the company, Klassroom adopted the hybrid learning model in India long before it became a mainstream trend in the education sector. The founders bring over 12 years of entrepreneurial experience and established the company with the mission of using education as a catalyst for social transformation.

From Offline Coaching to a National EdTech Platform

Fusion Klassroom Edutech Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated on November 3, 2016. Initially, the company launched offline academic coaching services and partnered with more than three coaching centres. This model later became the foundation of what evolved into its hybrid education platform.

Between 2017 and 2020, the company expanded its offline footprint to more than 20 partner centres. During this period, it launched initiatives such as "How to Study" workshops and Klassroom Konnect. Annual student enrolments crossed 500, helping the company establish a strong presence across Mumbai and surrounding regions.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020-21, Klassroom launched the Klassroom Online Academy, attracting more than 10,000 users. This phase validated the company's hybrid learning model and positioned it as one of the pioneers in integrating offline coaching with digital education.

Government Partnerships and National Recognition

In 2021-22, the number of registered users on the platform crossed 30,000. During the same period, the founders interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on education and innovation and Klassroom was also selected as a finalist at the National Startup Awards, marking an important milestone in its national recognition.

In 2022-23, the company executed more than 10 projects under PM SHRI Schools and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). It also signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan to deliver NEP 2020-aligned educational content to more than 2,000 government schools, benefiting nearly 300,000 students.

In 2023-24, Klassroom implemented a digital education initiative for more than 1,000 girl students in collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh. During the same year, co-founder Alka Javeri was invited to Rashtrapati Bhavan for a one-on-one interaction with the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, on the subject of women’s empowerment. The company also received international recognition by being featured in the HolonIQ South Asia EdTech 100 and the GSV Cup Elite 200.

Growing Focus on AI and Skill Development

In 2024-25, Klassroom launched its AI-powered Education OTT App, offering more than 100 courses and over 3,300 hours of recorded content. During this period, the platform surpassed 300,000 registered users, 50,000 subscribers and expanded its offline presence to more than 25 centres.

In 2025-26, the company partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC), and Maharashtra State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) to roll out AI and Machine Learning training programmes. Alongside establishing AI/ML Labs across Maharashtra, Klassroom expanded its offline network to 30 centres and crossed 400,000 cumulative learners. During the same period, the company was converted into Fusion Klassroom Edutech Limited, a public limited company, in preparation for its stock market listing.

Revenue Surges Over 128% in FY26

On the financial front, Fusion Klassroom Edutech reported an operating revenue of ₹23.04 crore in FY26, representing a remarkable 128.42% increase compared with ₹10.09 crore in FY25. According to the company, this growth was driven by the expansion of its hybrid learning model, digital platforms, government projects and skill development programmes.

The company's maiden SME IPO, opening on July 31, marks the beginning of its next phase of growth. Through AI-powered education, skill development initiatives and its hybrid learning model, Klassroom aims to further expand access to quality education for learners across India.
