The Haryana Government has taken a significant step towards providing better educational opportunities for meritorious students in the state. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced the expansion of the state's education support initiatives by establishing 25 new centres under the Buniyaad Scheme and providing 100 new computers to the Super-100 Centre in Kurukshetra.
These initiatives aim to equip talented students from government schools with modern learning resources and quality coaching to help them prepare for competitive examinations.
The announcements were made during the Haryana Super-100 Felicitation Ceremony held in Chandigarh, where students who successfully cleared the IIT-JEE examination under the Super-100 Scheme were honoured. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was also present at the event.
Expansion of the Buniyaad Scheme
The Chief Minister stated that 25 new Buniyaad Centres will be added to the existing network of 103 centres, increasing the total number to 128 centres across the state. He said these new centres would enable more students to access quality coaching and academic guidance.
He further emphasized that the Haryana Government is committed to ensuring that no talented student is deprived of educational opportunities due to financial constraints or lack of resources. The government's objective is to provide every deserving student with the opportunity to realise their full potential.
Super-100 Centre to Get Modern Infrastructure
The Chief Minister also announced that the Super-100 Centre in Kurukshetra will receive 100 new computers, strengthening its digital learning infrastructure and providing students with a more technology-enabled learning environment.
He noted that digital education has become an integral part of competitive examination preparation. Modern computers and digital learning resources will enable students to practise more effectively and make better use of technology to enhance their preparation.
What Are the Super-100 and Buniyaad Schemes?
Under the Haryana Super-100 Scheme, meritorious students from government schools receive free residential coaching, quality academic support, study material and guidance from expert faculty to prepare for prestigious competitive examinations such as IIT-JEE, NEET and other national-level entrance tests. The scheme aims to provide economically weaker but talented students with opportunities to secure admission to India's premier educational institutions.
The Buniyaad Scheme, on the other hand, focuses on identifying talented students at an early stage and providing them with structured academic guidance and support, enabling them to build a strong foundation for future competitive examinations.
Meritorious Students Honoured

Addressing the gathering, he described the students as the future of a developed India and said their achievements reflected the country's bright future.

Congratulating the successful candidates, their parents and teachers, he noted that clearing a highly competitive examination like IIT-JEE is the result of exceptional dedication and consistent effort.

The government, he said, remains committed to providing equal educational opportunities to girls and encouraging greater participation in higher and technical education.
Recognising the Role of Teachers
The Chief Minister also acknowledged the contribution of teachers associated with the Super-100 Scheme. He said they had not only imparted academic knowledge but had also instilled confidence, discipline and a belief in success among the students.
He emphasised that behind every successful student lies the guidance of dedicated teachers and the unwavering support of their families. Such educators, he said, serve as an inspiration to society by shaping the future of the nation's youth.
Youth to Play a Key Role in the Vision of Developed India
