Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has instructed that expert teams from IITs be deployed to address the technical problems affecting the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)’s re-evaluation and post-result services. The decision has been taken in view of the increasing complaints from students and parents with the aim of making the entire process more transparent, secure and student-friendly.
Recently, after the declaration of CBSE board examination results, several students and parents reported technical glitches on the post-result services portal. Many students faced difficulties during login, application submission and payment processing. Following these complaints, the Ministry of Education took the matter seriously and decided to implement immediate corrective measures.
IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur Teams to Conduct Technical Review
According to the Ministry of Education, teams of professors and technical experts from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will assist CBSE. The expert teams will conduct a detailed review of all technical glitches reported since the launch of this year’s re-evaluation services.
The experts will assess portal stability, server capacity and the strength of the overall IT infrastructure. In addition, login authentication systems, user access mechanisms, and payment gateway operations will also be reviewed to ensure that students do not face any inconvenience during the application process.
Major Improvements Planned for Payment Gateway System
The Union Education Minister also discussed the issue with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. After the meeting, it was decided that four major public sector banks State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank and Indian Bank would assist CBSE in strengthening its payment gateway system.
With the support of these banks, stronger payment protocols will be developed to make the payment process faster and more secure. Facilities such as quicker resolution of payment failures and automatic refunds in cases of excess payments will also be improved.
Focus on Student Interests
Dharmendra Pradhan stated that students’ interests are the top priority and that CBSE must implement all necessary reforms at the earliest. He directed the board to make the re-evaluation process fully transparent, efficient and technologically robust so that students and parents do not face inconvenience in the future.
Experts believe that with the support of IIT institutions and government banks, CBSE’s digital system can become more reliable and efficient. This is expected to provide a better online experience for millions of students and make the board’s post-result processes smoother and more organized.
