Montra Electric Expands NCR Footprint with New Dealerships
Montra Electric has expanded its dealership network in the NCR with new e-SCV and e-3W outlets in North Delhi and Greater Noida. The move aims to support growing adoption of electric commercial vehicles driven by urban logistics and fleet operations.

Montra Electric, the clean mobility arm of the Murugappa Group, has expanded its dealership network in the National Capital Region (NCR) with the launch of an electric small commercial vehicle (e-SCV) dealership at Libaspur in North Delhi and an electric three-wheeler (e-3W) dealership at Surajpur in Greater Noida. The expansion comes at a time when NCR is emerging as one of India’s most active markets for electric commercial vehicles.

The growing adoption of electric vehicles in NCR is being driven by urban logistics requirements, shared passenger mobility, and increasing deployment of intra-city fleets. Electric commercial vehicles in the region are steadily transitioning from pilot projects to regular commercial operations.

The Greater Noida e-3W dealership, operated by Vigsons Automobiles, will cater to last-mile passenger and cargo requirements. The outlet will retail Montra Electric’s Super Auto and Super Cargo models and is equipped with dedicated service infrastructure and trained EV technicians to ensure quicker service turnaround and higher vehicle uptime—critical factors for daily-use commercial operators.

Meanwhile, the North Delhi e-SCV dealership, operated by Action Volt Wheels, a part of the Action Earth Movers Group, will support businesses deploying electric SCVs for mid-mile and intra-city logistics. The facility is designed to serve applications such as e-commerce distribution, FMCG movement, and urban freight, offering after-sales support and workshop facilities aligned with fleet customers’ expectations.

Senior leadership from TI Clean Mobility attended the dealership inaugurations, including Arun Murugappan, Chairman, Montra Electric; Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director; Saju Nair, CEO – e-SCV; and Deependra Sharma, CEO – e-3W. Their presence underlined the strategic importance of NCR in Montra Electric’s national expansion plans.

Commenting on the expansion, Arun Murugappan said, “The transition to electric commercial mobility is an institutional shift, not merely a product change. Its long-term success depends on building a strong and reliable ecosystem anchored in quality, service, and ownership confidence.”

Jalaj Gupta added, “Delhi-NCR is one of the most structurally important markets for electric commercial vehicles, where growth is being driven by real operating use cases rather than experimentation. Our focus is on building a network capable of supporting this scale through dependable retail partners, robust service infrastructure, and consistent customer engagement.”

The NCR expansion reflects Montra Electric’s broader strategy of strengthening its retail and service footprint in regions where commercial EV adoption is gaining depth. As deployments across last-mile and mid-mile applications continue to rise, the company expects NCR to remain a key growth market in the years ahead.
