Kolkata-based Motovolt Mobility has deployed 2,500 electric two-wheelers in India’s last-mile delivery sector, partnering with third-party logistics providers and on-demand digital marketplaces.
The company’s M7, MVS7, and Express MV models are now operational on platforms including Zomato, Flipkart, Swiggy, Zepto, Blinkit, and Porter. The fleet operates through partnerships with logistics companies such as Greendrive, Shadowfax, Loadshare, and Kar Pragati, serving cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, and Gurugram.
Since 2024, Motovolt’s connected vehicle fleet has accumulated over 17.6 million kilometers, with a single vehicle recording the highest mileage of 54,201 kilometers. The M7 model features a 3 kWh LFP battery offering a range of 166 kilometers and a payload capacity of 180 kilograms.
The MVS7 and Express MV models incorporate battery-swapping technology, with partnerships with Indofast Energy (a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation and SUN Mobility) and Yuma Energy.
Tushar Choudhary, Founder and CEO of Motovolt, stated that the company aims to support logistics operations while reducing operational costs for delivery partners. Additionally, the company has established financing partnerships with Ecofy Finance, Autovert, Alt Mobility, and Electrify to facilitate vehicle leasing for partners.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Kolkata, Motovolt Mobility has delivered over 32,000 vehicles across its product range, including electric cycles, e-mopeds, and scooters.
This initiative is seen as a significant step toward promoting electric vehicle adoption in India and providing sustainable solutions for the logistics sector.
