Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Oben Electric has announced that its new electric motorcycle, Rorr Evo, has crossed 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of launch, marking one of the fastest demand build-ups in India’s electric motorcycle segment. The company is preparing to begin deliveries in June 2026.
Oben Electric has also opened a payment portal on its website, allowing the first 10,000 customers to book the motorcycle at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom), after which the price will rise to ₹1,24,999.
Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, said the strong booking response reflects growing consumer readiness for electric motorcycles that offer performance, practicality, and reliable ownership experience, adding that the segment is set to play a key role in India’s next EV growth wave.
The company currently operates over 150 showrooms and service centres across 100+ cities in 18 states and plans to expand by adding 200 more exclusive outlets by FY27 end.
Technically, the Rorr Evo is powered by a 9 kW peak IPMSM motor delivering 250 Nm wheel torque, accelerating from 0–40 km/h in 3 seconds with a top speed of 110 km/h. It features a 3.4 kWh LFP battery offering an IDC-certified range of 180 km, fast charging from 0–80% in 90 minutes, and an 8-year battery warranty.
The motorcycle also comes with a 5-inch TFT display, OTA updates, navigation, geofencing, remote immobilisation, and emergency SOS features. Oben Electric manufactures key components in-house at its Bengaluru facility, which has an annual production capacity of 100,000 motorcycles, enabling tighter control over quality and production efficiency.
