Omnichannel furniture and home retail brand Pepperfry, a subsidiary of TCC Concept Limited is set to open 35 new stores by the end of August as it ramps up expansion ahead of the festive season. The move comes on the back of the company's first-ever profitable quarter, reinforcing its omnichannel growth strategy and long-term retail ambitions.
Pepperfry plans to expand its retail network to over 250 stores in the near future, strengthening its presence across metros, Tier I and Tier II cities. The expansion aims to enhance customer accessibility, deepen market penetration and tap into the festive shopping season.
The company said the rollout is aligned with its omnichannel strategy, driven by its 'One Funnel' approach, which enables customers to discover products online, experience them in stores and complete purchases through their preferred shopping channel. Pepperfry continues to invest in store formats, technology, product innovation and customer experience to deliver a seamless retail journey.
The retailer also reported its first profitable quarter in Q4 FY26, driven by improved operational efficiencies, stronger business fundamentals and the scalability of its omnichannel model.
Commenting on the expansion, Hussaine Kesury, Chief Business Officer, Pepperfry, said the new stores will make the Pepperfry experience more accessible while further integrating its online and offline channels. He added that the stores are evolving into comprehensive home retail destinations with 'Sell from Store' capabilities and an expanded assortment featuring products from thousands of D2C brands.
Founded in 2012 by the late Ambareesh Murty and Ashish Shah, Pepperfry currently serves customers across 80 cities, offering furniture, home décor, furnishings, mattresses, kitchenware and modular solutions through its omnichannel retail network.
