Raptee.HV has opened its first retail outlet outside Chennai in Bengaluru, offering test rides, deliveries and after-sales support for its T30 electric motorcycle.

Chennai-based electric motorcycle manufacturer Raptee.HV has opened its first retail outlet outside its home market in Bengaluru. Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises H. D. Kumaraswamy inaugurated the company’s experience centre. With this, Bengaluru has become Raptee.HV’s second operational market after Chennai.

Dinesh Arjun, Co-founder and CEO of Raptee.HV, said the company plans to enter seven more cities by the end of this year. He said Bengaluru was chosen as the company’s first expansion market due to its large base of informed EV riders who expect both advanced technology and strong performance.

The new Bengaluru centre will offer test rides, vehicle deliveries and after-sales support. According to the company, Bengaluru was selected for its strong charging infrastructure and established motorcycling community. Raptee.HV plans to expand its retail and service network in the city in a phased manner.

According to the company, the key highlight of the Raptee.HV T30 electric motorcycle is its 240V high-voltage architecture, adapted from electric car technology. The company claims that this technology delivers better acceleration, higher efficiency and improved reliability compared to petrol motorcycles. The battery, motor and controller have been designed for a service life of up to 12 years.

The T30 is equipped with a Combined Charging System Type 2 (CCS2) connector, giving riders access to more than 30,000 public charging points across India. The company claims that the motorcycle can be fully charged in around 20 minutes using a public fast charger.

The Raptee.HV T30 is priced at ₹2.39 lakh, ex-showroom. The motorcycle offers a claimed real-world range of 150 km and can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in under 3.5 seconds. It comes with an eight-year or 80,000 km battery warranty, a three-year vehicle warranty and roadside assistance.

Operating under Raptee Energy, Raptee.HV was founded by engineers from Tesla, Wipro and other mobility companies. The company claims that its HV-Tec platform is backed by more than 200 patents.
