Sainik School Adds 3 New Schools For AISSEE 2026, Registration Ends October 30

The Sainik School Society has announced the addition of three new schools for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026. Candidates interested in applying can check the official notice on the NTA website at nta.ac.in.

The newly added schools are:
1. Srri SPK Public Senior Secondary School, Tamil Nadu
2.Vadem Nagar Higher Secondary School, Goa
3.Yogeshwari Sainik School, Ambajogai, Maharashtra

Registration: The AISSEE 2026 registration is underway and will close on October 30, 2025 with the last date for successful fee payment is October 31, 2025. An application correction window will be open from November 2 to 4, 2025.

Age Limit: The age limit for admission to Sainik schools has also been fixed. For admission to class 6, the child’s age must be between 10 to 12 years by March 31, 2026. Enrollment for girls will be taken only in class 6. Girls will be admitted only based on seats available in class 9. For admission to this class, the age of the candidates must be between 13 to 15 years by March 31, 2026.

Application Process And Fees

Step 1 – To apply for All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination-2026, candidates need to fill the registration form available on the official website exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.

Step 2 – Candidates must enter all the required details, including their full name, date of birth, home address, number, and email address.

 Step 3 – Select the class you want to take admission for – class 6 or class 9.

Step 4 – Scan and upload the essential documents (including photograph and signature) to complete the application form.

Step 5 – Now, pay the applicable fee through the provided online payment options and confirm your application. Submit and download.

Fees – The application fee for AISSEE has increased this year. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 850 (last year, it was Rs 800), while the ST and SC category candidates will have to pay Rs 700 (last year, it was Rs 650).

The entrance exam for admission to both Class 6 and Class 9 of Sainik Schools will be held in January 2026. This exam will determine the selection process for the further admission process.
