Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy has announced that it will launch its first family electric scooter on September 2, 2026, marking the company's entry into the mass-market family scooter segment.
According to the company, the upcoming electric scooter has been developed entirely through in-house research and engineering. It has been designed to meet the everyday mobility needs of Indian families, with a focus on practicality, usability and convenience. However, the company has not yet revealed the scooter's technical specifications or features.
The new model will expand Simple Energy's product portfolio, which currently includes the Simple One, a performance-focused electric scooter, and the recently unveiled Simple Ultra, which claims an IDC-certified range of up to 400 km on a single charge.
Simple Energy said the upcoming family electric scooter represents the next phase of its growth strategy. With this launch, the company aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian electric two-wheeler market by catering to a broader customer base in the mass-market segment.
