ViewSonic Boosts AI-Powered Learning in Indian Schools
ViewSonic Corp. a leading global provider of visual and EdTech solutions has launched its new AI-powered IN05 Series ViewBoard interactive displays in India, aimed at creating smarter, more collaborative and engaging classroom experiences.

The launch reflects the growing transformation of India’s education ecosystem, where schools and institutions are increasingly adopting AI-enabled teaching environments that go beyond hardware deployment and focus on empowering educators with intelligent digital learning tools.

As schools across metropolitan cities and emerging Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets continue to embrace digital transformation initiatives aligned with the Digital India and National Education Policy (NEP) vision, the demand for connected and interactive classroom solutions has risen significantly.

Educators are looking for technologies that not only digitize classrooms but also simplify lesson planning, improve student engagement and support personalized learning experiences. This shift is driving greater emphasis on teacher enablement and AI-assisted pedagogy.

AI-Powered Features Designed for the Classroom

The new IN05 Series ViewBoard comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of AI-powered tools specifically designed for educational environments. These features are intended to improve teaching efficiency while delivering richer and more engaging learning experiences for students.

Smarter Teaching Support :

The Ask AI feature functions as an intelligent voice assistant, enabling teachers to control the ViewBoard using voice commands, smart pen voice capture or keyboard input. Educators can quickly open files, draw shapes, adjust settings and change pen colors with ease. In addition, Video Pilot enhances video-based learning by automatically generating structured summaries, timestamped subtitles and clickable navigation points, allowing students and teachers to access key concepts more efficiently.

Enhanced Classroom Engagement :

To make classroom interaction more dynamic, the IN05 Series includes AI Painter and AI Mind Map. AI Painter provides intelligent drawing assistance through voice, pen or text inputs, while AI Mind Map instantly creates structured mind maps from keywords, topics, or images. These tools help streamline brainstorming sessions, concept mapping and lesson planning, making learning more interactive and collaborative.

Instant Assisted Learning & Problem Solving :

The ViewBoard also offers AI-powered tools designed to support students directly. Circle Go allows users to draw a circle around any content or mathematical problem to receive instant step-by-step solutions, related concepts, visuals and additional resources. Calculator Pro supports handwritten equation solving and geometric calculations, while Live Subtitle provides real-time multilingual subtitles and translation for both local and online video content.

These AI capabilities integrate seamlessly with ViewSonic’s myViewBoard ecosystem, including Note and myViewBoard Whiteboard software, creating a comprehensive intelligent teaching platform.

Designed specifically for educational environments, the IN05 Series features 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), an octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and Android 16 (EDLA). The displays also support USB-C single-cable connectivity, advanced infrared touch technology with up to 50 touch points, 400-nit brightness a 5000:1 contrast ratio, anti-glare glass and robust connectivity options.

Commenting on the launch, Muneer Ahmad, Managing Director, ViewSonic India, said that India’s education sector is undergoing rapid digital transformation with the focus shifting from merely introducing technology to enabling teachers to use it effectively. He added that the AI-powered IN05 Series and myViewBoard ecosystem are designed to support more interactive, collaborative and future-ready learning environments.

The AI-powered IN05 Series ViewBoard displays will be available across India through authorized ViewSonic education partners and resellers starting Q2 (July-September)  2026.
