Amara Raja Posts Strong FY26 Revenue Growth at 13,549 Crore
Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited reported FY26 revenue of 13,549 crore, up 9.2% year-on-year, supported by strong performance across automotive, home energy, and new energy businesses.

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited reported strong financial performance for the financial year ended March 31, 2026 (FY26), driven by growth across its automotive, home energy, and new energy businesses. The company posted operating revenue of ₹13,549 crore, up 9.2% from ₹12,405 crore in FY25, and announced a final dividend of ₹5.2 per share for shareholders.

Profit before tax (PBT) for FY26 stood at ₹1,307 crore, marginally higher than ₹1,299 crore in the previous year, while earnings per share (EPS) came in at ₹53.02. The company also delivered a stronger performance in the fourth quarter of FY26, with revenue rising 16.3% year-on-year to ₹3,460 crore and PBT surging 93.3% to ₹433 crore.

On a sequential basis, Q4 revenue increased 3.3% over the previous quarter, while PBT more than doubled, reflecting improved operational efficiency. The company noted that volatility in raw material prices impacted margins in its lead-acid battery business during the year, although its new energy segment recorded robust growth of around 60%.

Executive Director – Automotive and Industrial Harshavardhana Gourineni said the automotive business performed strongly in FY26, supported by over 20% growth in OEM demand and steady aftermarket sales.

Executive Director – New Energy Business Vikramadithya Gourineni said the company’s Giga Corridor infrastructure, including its R&D centre and qualification plant, is in the commissioning phase and expected to become operational soon, with the first 2 GWh cell manufacturing capacity targeted for June 2027.

Chairman and Managing Director Jayadev Galla said the company’s strong performance was supported by its leadership in lead-acid batteries and growing momentum in new energy businesses, adding that diversification into advanced battery technologies positions the company well for future growth in India’s energy storage sector.
