Bower School of Entrepreneurship has raised INR 26.8 crore in a pre-Series A funding round. The round follows its INR 11.5 crore seed raise and includes returning investors, new investors from the education sector, a Silicon Valley-based investor and other high-net-worth individuals.
The funding will support the institution’s next phase of growth with a focus on expanding its academic offerings, increasing student enrolment and strengthening its entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The company also plans to build a dedicated campus in Hyderabad and develop a technology platform that brings together programmes, mentors, founders and the wider Bower community.
Funding to Support Campus Development and Technology Expansion
The newly raised capital will be used to build a team of educators, industry practitioners and venture specialists while strengthening existing programmes. Bower also plans to deepen its work with current university partners and establish new institutional collaborations across states.
The technology platform is expected to connect learners, mentors and founders, supporting collaboration across the institution’s programmes and entrepreneurial network.
Programmes Reach Students, Professionals and Founders
Based in Hyderabad, Bower School of Entrepreneurship offers programmes for school students, undergraduates, working professionals and founders. The institution has supported more than 150 startups and launched nine programmes.
Its reach includes over 8,000 K-12 learners, 50 undergraduate students and 150 executive education students. Through Founder OS, it connects more than 2,000 founders, while over 200 students are pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through its institutional partnerships.
Leadership Team Brings Entrepreneurship Education Experience
Founder and CEO Pavan Allena previously built Metamorphosis Edu, which introduced entrepreneurship learning in schools and was later acquired by BrightCHAMPS. Ravi Reddy and Bharath Maguluri have joined Bower as partners, adding to the institution’s leadership as it expands its programmes and institutional presence.
Bower Aims to Build a Leading Entrepreneurship Institution
“Over the past few years, we have worked to build an institution where entrepreneurship is experienced, practised and supported, not just taught. Our ambition is to establish Bower as a leading centre for entrepreneurship in the country,” said Pavan Allena, Founder and CEO, Bower School of Entrepreneurship.
