R&D-driven electric motorcycle manufacturer Oben Electric has started customer deliveries of its newly launched Rorr Evo electric motorcycle. The company handed over the first batch of motorcycles to customers in Bengaluru through its 'First to Rorr' delivery event. Deliveries will be rolled out in phases across the country through Oben's network of 150 showrooms over the coming weeks.
According to the company, the Rorr Evo received more than 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of its launch in May 2026, making it one of the fastest-selling electric motorcycles in its segment. To meet the growing demand, Oben is ramping up production at its manufacturing facility, which has an annual production capacity of 100,000 electric motorcycles.
Oben Electric said its vertically integrated manufacturing ecosystem, along with a network of 150+ showrooms and Oben Care service centres across more than 90 cities in 18 states, will help ensure a seamless ownership experience for customers.
Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, said that while generating demand is an important milestone, delivering motorcycles on time is what builds long-term customer trust. She added that India is a motorcycle-first market, and the next phase of electric mobility will be driven by electric motorcycles that offer uncompromised performance, reliability, safety, and everyday practicality.
Priced at 1,24,999 (ex-showroom), the Rorr Evo features Oben's AI-powered SmartIQ™ ride optimisation technology, which claims to improve riding range by up to 15%. The motorcycle is powered by an in-house developed 9 kW motor and a 3.4 kWh LFP battery, delivering a top speed of 110 km/h, a claimed range of 180 km, and acceleration from 0–40 km/h in just 3 seconds. It also supports 0–80% fast charging in 90 minutes and comes with an 8-year battery warranty.
The motorcycle is equipped with a 5-inch colour TFT display, OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilisation, fall detection, and Emergency SOS through Oben's proprietary ARGUS connected technology platform.
Oben Electric designs, develops, and manufactures all key EV components including LFP batteries, motors, VCUs, chargers, and software—in-house. The company says this integrated approach enables greater control over technology, quality, and supply chains as it continues to expand its presence across India.
