Coffee-first QSR brand Third Wave Coffee has strengthened its North India presence with the launch of its first café in Agra. Situated on Fatehabad Road in Tajganj, the outlet marks the brand’s entry into the city while reinforcing its growing footprint in Uttar Pradesh.

With this addition, the company’s network now exceeds 220 cafés nationwide, including 66 across North India, highlighting its ongoing strategy to tap high-growth markets and enhance consumer accessibility.

Renowned for its rich cultural heritage and strong tourism appeal, Agra presents a strategic opportunity for the brand to connect with both local consumers and travellers seeking premium café experiences. The expansion aligns with shifting consumer preferences and the rising demand for experiential dining in the city.

Located in the vibrant hub of Tajganj, the café has been conceptualised as a community-centric space for residents and visitors alike. Its menu features signature brews, specialty single-origin coffees, artisanal baked goods, and a curated selection of food offerings designed to suit contemporary tastes.

Rajat Luthra, CEO, Third Wave Coffee, said, “Our entry into Agra marks an exciting step in our journey as we continue to expand into culturally vibrant and fast-evolving cities across India. We see strong potential in Agra’s growing café culture and are excited to introduce our perspective on coffee and community-driven experiences to the city. We look forward to becoming a part of our customers’ everyday moments as well as their travel experiences."

The café also offers a seamless, tech-enabled experience through Third Wave Coffee’s mobile application, enabling customers to place orders in advance and personalise their visits.

Looking ahead, the brand aims to launch 120 additional cafés across India by the end of the fiscal year. Supported by its Food Innovation Lab and advanced roastery capabilities, it continues to prioritise consistency, innovation, and the creation of community-driven café spaces as it expands its national footprint.

Founded in 2016 by Sushant Goel, Anirudh Sharma, and Ayush Bathwal, the brand has grown into one of India’s fastest-expanding coffee QSR chains, driven by its emphasis on high-quality beans, strategic locations, and a technology-led customer experience.
