भारत की प्रोफेशनल एजुकेशन और स्किलिंग कंपनी Imarticus Learning ने Singapore स्थित BELLS Institute of Higher Learning (BELLS) का करीब ₹800 करोड़ में अधिग्रहण किया है। यह कंपनी का पहला अंतरराष्ट्रीय अधिग्रहण है और इसके साथ Imarticus Learning ने Southeast Asia में अपने Education और Workforce Development विस्तार को नई दिशा दी है। BELLS ने भी अपने आधिकारिक LinkedIn अपडेट में Imarticus Learning के साथ merger की पुष्टि करते हुए इसे future-ready skills और learners के लिए नए अवसरों से जोड़ने वाला कदम बताया है।
Singapore बनेगा Southeast Asia में Education Hub
Imarticus Learning और BELLS दोनों का फोकस Outcome-driven education, professional training और workforce development पर है। BELLS के Singapore में सात training centres और 1.5 लाख से अधिक alumni का नेटवर्क है। वहीं, Imarticus Learning के अनुसार, उसके learning ecosystem ने 10 लाख से अधिक learners को प्रभावित किया है। कंपनी की मौजूदा वेबसाइट भी 10 लाख से अधिक learners impacted और 3,500+ hiring partners की जानकारी देती है।
दोनों संस्थानों के एक साथ आने से बनने वाले संगठन में 1,100 से अधिक Employees और भारत तथा Singapore में 25 से अधिक offices होंगे। इस विस्तार के जरिए Imarticus Learning का लक्ष्य Professional education, upskilling और job-oriented learning को Southeast Asian market में मजबूत करना है
Imarticus Learning की Acquisition Strategy भी हुई तेज
BELLS का अधिग्रहण Imarticus Learning की Acquisition-led expansion strategy का हिस्सा भी है। उपलब्ध acquisition databases के अनुसार, BELLS को शामिल करने के बाद Imarticus Learning के कुल छह acquisitions हो गए हैं। इससे पहले कंपनी ने India में education और learning से जुड़े कई businesses का अधिग्रहण किया था। CB Insights के रिकॉर्ड में 2021 में एक, 2022 में दो, 2023 में एक और 2025 में एक acquisition दर्ज है; BELLS 2026 का सबसे नया acquisition है।
इस रिकॉर्ड के अनुसार, 2022 में कंपनी की Acquisition activity सबसे अधिक रही, जब दो transactions हुए। इसके बाद 2023 और 2025 में एक-एक acquisition हुआ। 2026 में BELLS अब तक की एक acquisition है। Imarticus Learning ने 2025 में MyCaptain को acquire करने को अपना चौथा acquisition बताया था।
Professional Education से Global Skilling तक विस्तार
Imarticus Learning का Business model industry-focused education, specialised training, career assistance और professional upskilling पर आधारित है। कंपनी Finance, Data Science, Analytics, Technology, Management और अन्य career-focused क्षेत्रों में programmes उपलब्ध कराती है। इसकी वेबसाइट के अनुसार, कंपनी के पास 40+ programmes, 3,500+ hiring partners और 1,25,000 से अधिक career transitions का track record है।
कंपनी का placement ecosystem भी इसके education model का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है। FY2025-26 के लिए Imarticus Learning ने बताया था कि उसके programmes के जरिए 4,500 से अधिक careers लॉन्च हुए और इन placements की combined annual salary value ₹160 करोड़ से अधिक रही।
BELLS से मजबूत होगा Singapore का Skills Ecosystem
BELLS Singapore के Adult education और Job-readiness ecosystem में लंबे समय से काम कर रहा है। इसके सात training centres और बड़ा alumni network Imarticus Learning को Southeast Asia में स्थानीय learners और working professionals तक पहुंच बनाने में मदद कर सकता है।
अधिग्रहण के बाद दोनों संस्थानों की Capabilities को जोड़कर Industry-relevant courses, professional training और workforce development programmes को विस्तार देने का अवसर मिलेगा। इससे भारत में विकसित Imarticus Learning के career-focused education model को Singapore और अन्य regional markets में scale करने की संभावना बढ़ेगी।
AI, Data और Emerging Skills पर बढ़ता फोकस
Imarticus Learning पहले से ही technology-led learning और emerging career skills पर जोर दे रही है। कंपनी की मौजूदा programme portfolio में Generative AI, Data Science, Analytics, Technology और AI-enabled business programmes शामिल हैं। कंपनी की वेबसाइट पर IIM, IIT और अन्य leading institutions के साथ programmes और partnerships भी सूचीबद्ध हैं।
इसके अलावा, 2025 में IIM Calcutta के साथ Imarticus Learning ने Private Equity और Venture Capital पर executive programme भी शुरू किया था, जो industry-oriented higher और executive education की दिशा में कंपनी के विस्तार को दर्शाता है।
India से Southeast Asia तक Education Footprint
₹800 करोड़ का BELLS acquisition Imarticus Learning के लिए केवल एक corporate expansion नहीं, बल्कि professional education को international market तक ले जाने की रणनीति का हिस्सा है। Singapore को Southeast Asia hub बनाने से कंपनी को regional learners, employers और skills ecosystem के साथ जुड़ने का अवसर मिलेगा।
इस deal के साथ Imarticus Learning अब India-centric professional education company से आगे बढ़कर global education, upskilling और workforce development platform के रूप में अपनी मौजूदगी मजबूत करने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ रही है। BELLS का regional network और Imarticus Learning का industry-focused education model मिलकर Southeast Asia में career-oriented learning और employability-focused education के लिए नया scale तैयार कर सकता है।
