In his role as India President, Akis leads Nothing’s operations in one of the world’s most
competitive smartphone markets, overseeing business strategy, marketing initiatives, and key
partnerships. He has been instrumental in strengthening Nothing’s position in India - a
critical and highly strategic market for the company’s future growth, both locally and
globally. Under his leadership, the brand became the fastest-growing smartphone brand for
seven of the last eight quarters - the only smartphone brand in India to achieve this
milestone in the past decade.
Furthermore, he oversaw the strategic move to initiate the transition of CMF headquarters to
India, recently registering the company locally and reinforcing the brand’s long-term
