1. Definition

Event	ENTREPRENEUR INDIA SUMMIT & AWARDS 2026
Organized By	Entrepreneur India Media Pvt. Ltd.
Participant	Any organization/company/hotel that participates by applying for the Awards
Application Form	The entry for the Award is determined by the completely filled-in form submitted by Participant. The Participant must apply online on the below mentioned Website.
Jury	A group of experts identified by Awards Management for evaluation/review of the entries based on pre-defined evaluation parameters.
Terms and Conditions (“T&C” or “Terms and Conditions”)	The terms governing the Awards, as may be amended from time to time by the Awards Management.

• 1.1 By participating in the Awards, the Participant agrees to abide by and be bound by these Terms.
• 1.2 These Terms may be modified without any prior written notification. The Participant is advised to regularly review these Terms uploaded on the Website. If there is any disagreement with any of the Terms and any amendments thereto, the Participant must not participate in the Awards.
• 1.3 The Awards process, categories, and gratification thereof may be changed, modified, split, merged, increased, decreased, or cancelled by the Awards Management based on the number and quality of entries received.
• 1.4 The Awards Management reserves the right to add or remove nominations in any category based on the quality of entries received in that category.
• 1.5 If no Participants are found to be worthy of inclusion by the Awards Management, the Award may be cancelled. The decision of the Awards Management in this regard shall be final and binding, and no queries shall be entertained.
• 1.6 All fees paid towards award nomination, application, processing, evaluation, jury assessment, and related services are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
• 1.7 Once the payment is made, no refund shall be issued, irrespective of whether the application form is fully filled, partially filled, or not submitted at all, including but not limited to the following circumstances:
  • The applicant or organization does not win the Award or is not shortlisted
  • The application is rejected, disqualified, or found ineligible
  • The applicant withdraws the nomination at any stage
  • Incomplete, incorrect, or misleading information is submitted
  • Non-attendance at the award ceremony or related events
  • Any change in award category, jury process, evaluation criteria, or event format
  • Event rescheduling, venue change, or shift to a virtual or hybrid format

  By submitting the application and completing the payment, the applicant acknowledges, understands, and agrees to this No Refund Policy in its entirety.

2. Winner selection process

• 2.1 Entries that meet the prescribed eligibility criteria shall be reviewed by the Awards Management’s editorial team and the Jury Panel. The decision of the Jury, as validated and moderated by the Awards Management, shall be final, binding, and conclusive.
• 2.2 The shortlisted entries as well as the winning entries may be featured, published, or covered by the Awards Management, or a brief thereof may be displayed on the Website and/or any other platform or media, at the sole discretion of the Awards Management.
• 2.3 No correspondence of whatsoever nature relating to the shortlisting of entries or the selection of winning entries shall be entertained.
• 2.4 The Awards Management shall screen, present, or display the entries to the Jury in a format and manner deemed appropriate by the Awards Management.
• 2.5 The Jury shall select the top finalists along with the winners for the Awards.

3. Winner declaration

• 3.1 The Awards Management reserves the right to offer or withdraw any of the prizes/rewards/gratification/awards as provided herein, at any point of time, including after they have been announced.
• 3.2 Applicants who were winners in the previous edition(s) and are reapplying in the current edition under the same category and initiative must clearly highlight new innovations, initiatives, or achievements undertaken in the past one year as on the date of application.
• 3.3 Awards Management shall have the liberty, but not the obligation, to publish information with respect to the submission/entries made by the Participants.
• 3.4 Participants declare that the details furnished in the application form and supporting documents submitted for the awards are true, correct, and complete. In case any information is found to be false, misleading, or misrepresenting, the Participant shall be liable for all consequences including indemnifying the Awards Management for any losses or damages incurred.
• 3.5 The Participant authorizes the Awards Management to use the content submitted as part of nomination/participation, in whole or in part, across trade publications, press releases, electronic and social media, websites, hyperlinks, or any other display format during or after the Awards.
• 3.6 The Awards Management may, at its sole discretion, exclude a Participant from participating in any part of the Awards for reasons including but not limited to unfitness, inability to produce documentation, or any reason that may adversely impact the Awards. Awards Management is not obliged to notify unsuccessful Participants.
• 3.7 The Awards Management shall not be responsible if communication with a winner is unsuccessful due to reasons including but not limited to:
  • a. Line busy
  • b. Network congestion
  • c. No response
  • d. Poor call quality
  • e. Number engaged
  • f. Call drop
  • g. Undelivered email
  • h. Any other reason beyond reasonable control
• 3.8 Awards Management reserves the right to replace any winner who is disqualified, unable to participate, or breaches these Terms, with another eligible Participant.
• 3.9 Awards Management will use the registered email ID to identify winners. Failure to provide valid identification may result in disqualification from winnings.
• 3.10 Awards Management shall make reasonable efforts to contact winners; however, no guarantee is provided. In case of failure to contact, Management may proceed with the next eligible Participant.
• 3.11 Awards Management shall have no liability towards any Participant unable to participate and may disqualify such Participant at its discretion.
• 3.12 Management may replace any winner who is disqualified or unable to participate, even if such replacement Participant was previously eliminated.
• 3.13 Any tampering with the Website, data, servers, or systems related to the Awards may result in revocation of prizes and/or legal action at the discretion of Awards Management.
• 3.14 Awards Management will contact winners within 30 days of declaration to initiate prize registration, subject to availability and partner coordination.
• 3.15 Winners will receive prize communication via registered email or Website. Prizes not claimed within 30 days shall be forfeited and the winner disqualified.
• 3.16 Winners must submit attested copies of valid government-issued photo ID and any additional documents within the stipulated timeline.
• 3.17 Prize delivery may be delayed due to delayed documentation or force majeure events including government restrictions.
• 3.18 Winners agree not to hold Awards Management responsible for any delays, disputes, or claims arising out of the prize and shall indemnify Management against all such claims.
• 3.19 Any disputes or claims arising out of prizes shall be addressed directly with the Awards Management.
• 3.20 Awards Management may refuse to gratify winners in case of fraud, dishonesty, or non-entitlement under these Terms.

4. Prohibited Activities

• 4.1 Introducing or transmitting viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, corrupted files, malware, spyware, or any other similar software or programs that may damage, disrupt, or interfere with the operation of another’s computer, system, or property.
• 4.2 Using the Website in any manner intended to damage, disable, overburden, impair, or interfere with any server, network, or any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Website.
• 4.3 Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Website, user accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to any server through hacking, password mining, or any other unlawful or unauthorized means.
• 4.4 Obtaining or attempting to obtain any materials, data, or information stored on the Website, its servers, or associated systems through any means not intentionally made available through the Website.

5. Phases

• 5.1 The Awards schedule may be added to, modified, rescheduled, extended, cancelled, or terminated early based on technical requirements or for any other reason, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Awards Management.
• 5.2 All applications received shall be evaluated based on pre-defined evaluation criteria as determined by the Awards Management in its sole and absolute discretion.
• 5.3 The decision taken by the Awards Management, based upon the observations and recommendations of the Jury with respect to evaluation, qualification, or disqualification of entries, shall be final and binding on all Participants. No claims, objections, or queries in this regard shall be entertained.

6. Limitations & Disclaimers

• 6.1 The Awards Management shall not be responsible for any late, incomplete, corrupted, defective, or unreadable entries for any reason whatsoever, and such entries shall stand automatically disqualified. Awards Management shall not be responsible if, due to any technical, physical, or other reasons, an entry is not received or cannot be read, viewed, or judged.
• 6.2 The Awards Management reserves the right to suspend, cancel, modify, add to, or truncate these Terms & Conditions and/or the Awards and/or rules relating thereto at any time without prior notice. Participants are advised to periodically review this page for updates to these Terms & Conditions.
• 6.3 Awards Management gives no warranties in respect of any aspect of the Awards or any materials related thereto or offered at the Awards and, to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, and merchantability. The Awards are provided on an “as-is” basis. Awards Management shall not be responsible or liable for any reliance placed by any person on any aspect of the Awards or information provided therein.
• 6.4 The Awards Management does not make any representation or warranty that the Awards and/or results arising therefrom will meet the expectations of any Participant.
• 6.5 The Awards Management shall not be responsible for arranging, coordinating, funding, or reimbursing any travel, accommodation, visa, local transportation, or related expenses for nominees, finalists, or winners.
• 6.6 Attendance at the award ceremony or any associated events is entirely optional. Winners or shortlisted Participants choosing to attend shall do so at their own cost and expense.
• 6.7 Winning an Award or being shortlisted shall not include complimentary travel, accommodation, hospitality, or other benefits unless explicitly stated in writing by the Awards Management.
• 6.8 The Awards Management shall not be liable for any losses, delays, cancellations, or inconveniences relating to travel arrangements, accommodation bookings, visa approvals, or immigration requirements.

7. General

• 7.1 The Participant confirms that they are legally competent to enter into these Terms & Conditions and, if selected, to participate in the Awards, and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
• 7.2 The Participant understands and agrees that mere participation in the Awards does not entitle the Participant to any prize, reward, or any other form of consideration.
• 7.3 The Participant shall be solely responsible for any infringement or alleged infringement and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Awards Management from and against any claims, costs, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of any infringement or alleged infringement of any logo, trademark, intellectual property, or any related claims.
• 7.4 By entering the Awards, the Participant hereby grants the Awards Management a royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and communicate the entry and any intellectual property associated therewith, including photographs, videos, footage, and related content, for the purposes of conducting, promoting, publicizing, and administering the Awards, including but not limited to use in trade publications, press releases, electronic media, social media, and the Website, in any format as deemed appropriate by the Awards Management.
• 7.5 The Awards Management reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw, amend, or add to these Terms & Conditions of the Awards at any time, with prospective or retrospective effect, and shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any individual or organization arising from participation or attempted participation in the Awards, withdrawal of the Awards, or amendment of the rules.
• 7.6 All disputes relating to or arising out of the Awards shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction at New Delhi, India.
• 7.7 In the event that these Terms & Conditions do not address any question, issue, or complaint in relation to the Awards, the same shall be determined by the Awards Management or, where deemed necessary, by an independent body or legal team appointed by the Awards Management, and such determination shall be final and binding.

8. Website

• 8.1 The Website is solely an informational platform for the Awards (www.entrepreneurindia.com). The Awards Management shall not be liable or responsible for any action or decision taken by the Participant or by any person acting on the Participant’s behalf, under the Participant’s employment, or under contract with the Participant. The Awards Management shall have no obligation towards the Participant, and the Participant shall have no rights or claims whatsoever against the Awards Management in relation to the selection process or the conduct and administration of the Awards.
• 8.2 The Awards Management shall not be responsible for:
  • i. Any delivery failures or issues relating to registration or uploading of videos, presentations, or supporting materials;
  • ii. Any spam or unsolicited messages generated as a result of the Participant accessing or using the Website;
  • iii. Non-receipt, rejection, loss, or corruption of any data submitted by the Participant;
  • iv. Any lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete computer transmissions, network issues, electronic failures of any kind, or failure to receive entries due to transmission errors or technical malfunctions; and
  • v. Any other conditions, circumstances, or failures beyond the reasonable control of the Awards Management.

9. Disclaimers

• 9.1 The Awards Management has no obligation to screen any entry material in advance and shall not be responsible for monitoring entries for the purpose of preventing violations of intellectual property rights or violations of any applicable law, rule, or regulation. If the Awards Management is notified of any submission or material that may not conform to the rules, it may investigate such allegation and, in good faith and at its sole discretion, determine whether to eliminate such entry from consideration. The Awards Management shall have no liability or responsibility to any Participant or other user of the Website for the performance or non-performance of such activities.
• 9.2 Any failure by the Awards Management to exercise or enforce any right shall not constitute a waiver of such right or any other rights. The Awards Management shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from causes beyond its reasonable control. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this Agreement shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. This Agreement shall not be assignable, transferable, or sub-licensable by the Participant without the prior written consent of the Awards Management. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at New Delhi, India.
• 9.3 This Agreement constitutes the complete and exclusive statement of the mutual understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous written or oral agreements, communications, and understandings relating to the subject matter hereof. Any modification to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties, except as otherwise provided herein.
• 9.4 Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to create any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between the Participant and the Awards Management. The Participant acknowledges that they have no authority of any kind to bind the Awards Management in any respect whatsoever.
• 9.5 The Participant hereby agrees and undertakes not to hold the Awards Management and/or any of its group entities or affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, and vendors, responsible or liable for any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges, or expenses that the Participant may have suffered, sustained, incurred, or claims to suffer, sustain, or incur, directly or indirectly, arising out of or in connection with participation in the Awards or relating to any prize in any manner whatsoever.

10. Systems and availability

• 10.1 The Awards Management, its affiliates, process advisors, contractors, partners, and promotional associates shall not be responsible for any technical, hardware, software, or communication malfunctions, errors, or failures of any kind, including but not limited to lost or unavailable network connections, Website, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of information (regardless of cause), or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled, or delayed computer transmissions that may limit a Participant’s ability to participate. This includes any injury or damage to a Participant’s or any other person’s computer, mobile device, or property relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading of any materials. Lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, technically corrupted, or misdirected entries shall be disqualified. While commercially reasonable efforts shall be made to ensure security and accuracy of personal details, Participants acknowledge that such systems are not infallible and no guarantee is made regarding their effectiveness.
• 10.2 Any loss, grievance, dissatisfaction, or inconvenience suffered by a Participant during the course of the Awards shall not be the responsibility of the Awards Management and/or its associates or affiliates, and no liability shall arise to compensate or make good any such loss or dissatisfaction.
• 10.3 Reasonable efforts shall be made to protect data from loss or corruption; however, in the event of any data loss, the Awards Management may proceed with available data or in any other manner it deems reasonable. The Awards Management shall not be responsible or liable for any loss of data or any action taken as a result thereof.
• 10.4 Prior to participation in the Awards, the Participant is responsible for ensuring that the Website is operational and functioning correctly and is advised to maintain adequate system resources, including sufficient RAM and device memory, to ensure smooth access and usage.
• 10.5 While the servers used by the Awards Management have adequate redundancies, in the rare event of server downtime during the entry period, the Awards Management may, at its sole discretion and without obligation, determine such remedial measures as it deems appropriate.
• 10.6 The Participant acknowledges that all potential technical or operational issues may not have been identified by the Awards Management or its partners and agrees to hold them harmless against any application, network, system, process, or technical failures. Any loss, injury, discomfort, loss of privacy, inability to participate, or damage to property or devices shall not be the responsibility of the Awards Management or its partners.
• 10.7 No Participant or any person acting on behalf of a Participant shall initiate litigation against the Awards Management or its partners in relation to the Awards. Any grievance or complaint must be submitted via email to [email protected], and the decision of the Awards Management regarding grievance redressal shall be final and binding.
• 10.8 The Awards Management shall not be liable for any failure or malfunction of the application server or systems during the conduct of the Awards.

11. Publicity

• 11.1 The Participant, by providing the aforesaid personal or sensitive personal information, voluntarily agrees that the Awards Management shall have the right to collect, use, process, and share such information with third parties as may be required for the purposes of administering the Awards. The Participant agrees not to raise any claim against the Awards Management for sharing such information. All personal information shared by the Participant shall be handled in accordance with the Awards Management’s privacy policy.
• 11.2 By entering the Awards, the Participant agrees to participate in any media, publicity, or promotional activity resulting from the Awards, as reasonably requested by the Awards Management, at the Participant’s own expense, and consents to the use of the Participant’s name, image, likeness, and/or credentials by the Awards Management.
• 11.3 The Awards Management may contact Participants in advance regarding any media requests for interviews. Entries and related materials may be used for promotional, marketing, press, and media purposes. The Participant agrees to waive any intellectual property rights or claims they may have in respect of the entries submitted for the Awards. The Awards Management reserves the right to publish the name, image, and likeness of Participants, finalists, and winners on the Website or through other media platforms for publicity purposes, without any compensation. The Participant hereby relinquishes any past, present, or future monetary or other claims against the Awards Management and its affiliates for such use.
• 11.4 No Participant shall, without the prior written approval of the Awards Management, communicate with the press, media, or any third party, or provide interviews or comments relating to any aspect of the Awards. The Participant shall not disclose any confidential information relating to the Awards Management. Any violation of this clause shall result in immediate disqualification from further participation in the Awards.
• 11.5 The Participant shall at all times maintain strict confidentiality with respect to all information, materials, and particulars relating to the Awards.
• 11.6 Any photographs, videos, audio recordings, or other content submitted by the Participant or recorded in connection with the Awards shall, upon submission or creation, become the sole property of the Awards Management and may be used, reproduced, published, and exploited across all media and platforms worldwide in perpetuity. The Participant warrants that such content shall not be obscene, vulgar, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, harmful to children, hurt religious sentiments, depict violence, or infringe the rights of any third party. The Participant shall be solely liable for any civil or criminal action arising out of any breach of this clause.
• 11.7 Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by the Participant constitutes irrevocable permission for the Awards Management and its affiliates to photograph, film, record, and use the Participant’s name, image, likeness, voice, and statements for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media worldwide, in perpetuity, without any compensation.

12. Privacy

• 12.1 Participants voluntarily agree that personal data submitted with an entry, including name, mailing address, phone number, and email address may be collected, processed, stored, and otherwise used by the Awards Management and its affiliates for the purposes of conducting and administering the Awards. By entering the Awards, Participant agree to the transmission, processing, disclosing and storage of this personal data by Management and its affiliates. All personal information that is collected from the Participant is subject to Terms & Conditions.

13. Warranty and indemnity

• 13.1 The Participant warrants and represents that the entry submitted is the Participant’s own original work and that the Participant is the sole and exclusive owner and rights holder of the entry. The Participant confirms that they have full authority and legal right to submit the entry to the Awards and to grant all licenses required under these Terms. Each Participant agrees not to submit any entry that:
  
  (a) infringes upon or violates any third-party proprietary, intellectual property, industrial property, personal, moral, or other rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, trade names, industrial designs, patents, trade secrets, rights of privacy, publicity, or confidentiality; or
  
  (b) violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law, regulation, or statute.
• 13.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Awards Management from and against any and all liabilities, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with:
  • (i) any entry submission or material provided by the Participant that infringes any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party, or defames any person;
  • (ii) any misrepresentation or false statement made by the Participant in connection with the Awards;
  • (iii) any breach or non-compliance by the Participant with these Terms & Conditions;
  • (iv) claims brought by third parties arising from or relating to the Participant’s involvement in the Awards;
  • (v) acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of any prize or participation in any Awards-related activity;
  • (vi) any malfunction or technical issue relating to the Awards Website in connection with the Participant’s entry or participation;
  • (vii) any error in the collection, processing, storage, or retention of entry, voting, or participation data; and
  • (viii) any typographical or other error in the printing, offering, announcement, or publication of any prize or winner.
