Monu Jain possesses extensive domain expertise in the Investing & Lending space with a rich experience of over 27 years across Indian and Asian financial markets. She has built transformative & large-scale lending platforms, created innovative financial products, and developed high-performing motivated teams at institutions like Bank of America, IndusInd Bank and Aavishkaar Capital. Monu is currently Partner at Aavishkaar Capital for the Global Supply Chain Credit fund. She is building out the credit strategy for the group for creating Sustainable lending platforms with attractive risk adjusted returns. Here, she co-built the firm’s first credit fund—anchored by global partners—with a focus on climate-resilient supply chains and inclusive economic growth across Asia and Africa. She is also actively involved in various group-wide initiatives in the Aavishkaar platforms. Prior to Aavishkaar, in her 13+ years at IndusInd Bank, she built from the ground up and was the Country Head of Mid-Corporate & SME lending businesses, scaling it into a high-growth profitable engine of multi-billion dollar AUM with over 1000+ clients and 150+ team members. The franchise was pillared on deep credit capabilities and strong client relationships, offering diverse capital solutions to support corporate growth. As one of the top 0.2% performers in a large Bank, she also had the opportunity to provide thought leadership & strategically steer the Corporate Bank’s growth in other aspects. During her tenure, among other recognitions, she was awarded Corporate Bank Leader of the Year and specially chosen as one of the top few for an Executive Management Program at the Asian Institute of Management, Manila. Monu was awarded as the Strategic Growth Leader 2025 by the Forttuna Global Excellence Awards. Her leadership has been acknowledged at global platforms such as the Forbes Globalist Forum, Everywoman Global Summit 2023, and she has been featured as one of Alphabet’s Top Women in PE/VC.
