Ms. Tara Singh Vachani is a business leader and entrepreneur shaping the evolution of senior care in India. As the founder and Executive Chairperson of Antara Senior Care, she has built a differentiated platform that brings together human-centred design, entrepreneurship and compassionate care to address the changing needs of India’s ageing population. Under her leadership, Antara has evolved across three key verticals: Residences for Seniors, Care Homes and Services, and AGEasy, creating an integrated ecosystem that enables seniors and their families to navigate ageing with greater dignity, choice and confidence. The organisation has touched the lives of over 9 lakh seniors. Tara also serves as the Managing Trustee of Max India Foundation, where she leads its work in education and capacity building, including the Social Emotional Ethical (SEE) Learning programme, developed in collaboration with Emory University and now a standalone entity, The Karuna Practice. She is also a partner in Learning Matters, an education-focused organisation working with children, parents and educators. Her commitment to institution building extends to several influential organisations. She serves on the board of the Indian School of Business and the National and Delhi boards of Teach For India, and is a founding member of GivingPi by Dasra.
