Ms. Tara Singh Vachani is the Executive Chairperson of Antara Senior Care and Vice-Chairperson of Max India Limited. As the founder of Antara Senior Care, her vision has been to redefine the senior care landscape in India. Guided by its mission to be the most trusted brand for seniors and their families, Antara has already touched the lives of over 2 lakh seniors through its diverse offerings. Today, the organisation operates across four key verticals – Residences for Seniors, Care Homes, Care at Home, and Antara AGEasy – addressing the evolving lifestyle and lifecare needs of the elderly.
Alongside her leadership at Antara, Tara serves as the Managing Trustee of Max India Foundation, a role she deeply cherishes. The Foundation supports capacity building in the education sector through grant giving and runs transformative initiatives such as the Social Emotional Ethical (SEE) Learning program (developed in collaboration with Emory University), now a standalone entity known as The Karuna Practice. She is also a partner in Learning Matters, an education-focused organisation working with children, parents, and educators through child-centric approaches.
ara actively contributes to several institutions of influence. She holds a board seat at the Indian School of Business and serves on the National and Delhi boards of Teach for India. She is a Governing Council Member of the Vedica Scholars Program for Women, an innovative MBA program for women, and a mentor with the KARM Fellowship, which empowers young women from underprivileged backgrounds to achieve their educational and professional aspirations. She is also a founding member of GivingPi by Dasra, a collaborative philanthropic network tackling India’s developmental challenges.
